Warzone Boss Scoring System

Does anyone know how the scoring system will work in regards to boss kills in Warzone? I mean is it simply the last person who gets the “kill shot” gets all the points for their team? If that’s the case that’s quite concerning… This is an exaggeration but one team could do 99.9% of damage to the boss and then 1 player from the other team could put 1 sniper shot into the boss at the right time and kill him, giving his team all the points. I really hope its not like this but I’m not so sure a majority damage system would work either because teams that weren’t involved in the boss fight from the onset would have a huge disadvantage. I’m just concerned about how their going to balance this aspect of the scoring as it seems like a major part of winning a warzone match. Anyone have any insight/read anything about this??

That should be all part of it. I’m going to camp in the bush with my spartan laser ready to snipe those 150VP away from someone. I will regret nothing!

That can and does happen. In one of the RUL videos it does when they’re trying to kill an elder Hunter. That’s why you need to strategize and keep a watchful eye on teammates and enemies

The one who gets the kill gets the points. Its part of the risk of going for the bosses

Yeah, I was watching a RUL video, where GreenSkull put a TON of damage into a Phaeton with his Bashee, and then right before it blew up, someone on the ground shot it with their gun.

Long story short, he got no points, whatsoever.

It’s like in a MOBA, there’s a boss and one team is working on killing it, but someone on the other team comes by and does just enough to get that last hit in, he will get the credit and buffs for it.
Adds more competition and gives teams that are behind more of a chance to come back.
