How does it make any sense that the team that wears a boss down entirely does not get any points because 1 lucky person on the other team got the last shot in? Seriously, this is beyond frustrating. The points should be based on how much damage each team does, with a small bonus for the final hit. I’ve lost warzone matches because of this lazy mechanic.
Pretty good point, I would have to agree. Or there should be 2 different targets, one for each team. And the points go to whatever team kills their target first.
I agree that this is a terrible design choice. I’ve learned to let the other team do the work and steal the kill at the very end. Not fair at all. Especially when the boss is wortb 150 points – way too much for a cheap AI kill.
I also think it should be based on the percentage of the damage each team did, with a bonus for final hit.
i totally bump this idea. Some friends and i were talking about this last night
Agreed, it would make for a lot closer games, and makes sure to reward the team that actually playing objectively. From what I can tell this is a big part of the reason that people don’t like warzone that much, so they fix this and warzone gets much cooler.
This is one of the strategic parts of Warzone. While I also don’t like it since I have had a few people from an opposing team get in a good grenade or headshot at the very end part of the objective is to dominate the area and keep the opposing team out. This can be difficult if your team isn’t working together but when the team collaborates you can dominate the entire map pretty easily.

We had three tanks on warden once and the other team got lucky with a shot from a BR i went and looked in theater after and this is not right.
although i understand because multiplayer bosses are hard to claim. I think high value targets shuld drop something that the teams have to fight for to pick up for the points. then whoever picks it up and brings it to the nearest base gets the points.
that way when we have three tanks in the area we can easily grab the pickup and get to our base and earn our points, but this will still allow the other team to steal which they should be able to do.
I’m not a big fan of this mechanic, but I do agree with a small phoenix.
Although if they were to change it,they could do a damage ratio kind of thing. The downside is that the team that dealt more damage must have a IMMENSELY big difference between the two teams.Otherwise, same rules apply.Team that gets the last shot in gets the points.
