How much damage do you have to do to get an assist or even a kill on a warzone boss? At times I keep hitting a boss like Warden Eternal with everything I have but when we get the kill I don’t get the assist at all. Can someone clarify this for me?
It is totally random, lot’s of hypothesis out there, but my experience is that it is pretty random.
It’s supposed to be whoever got the last hit on the boss gets the kill, however it feels random.
Sometimes I feel like I didn’t actually get the kill and it gives me a kill medal.

The kill medal seems pretty consistent to me, the assist feels like the random one though
