Warzone Assault

Am I the only Marine who thinks the deck is stacked for the offense in Warzone Assault?
The defense loses like 97% of the time I play Warzone Assault.

You are not the only Marine.
But for the rest I disagree,it varries from map to map,overral,I think its 6/4 for the attackers.

Yeah I do feel the same way. Seeing defense win is generally a surprise to me, although it does happen once in a while

I would have to say that I 100% disagree with this statement. I have more wins on defense on every level other than Array in WZ Assault. I think that there are several levels that cater to defense, with each level having at least one base that has so many places to hide that it is very difficult to clear from an offensive perspective. It definitely depends on your team though. In defense you have to worry more about getting back into the base and defending than staying outside and keeping a high K/D, obviously it is good to have a little bit of both to keep the other team out, but when the cap is happening you kinda just need to get back into the base.

I do better on defense than offense personally. I always love it when I hear the announcer say I’m going to be defending.

Defense will lose every time if they go light on calling in reqs. But if you make sure you’re always spawning in with some sort of power weapon, power up, or vehicle, you’ll win on defense every time.

Just look at peoples win loss history.

Red wins more on almost every map.
Red can win because one guy hid and did nothing.

It’s all about the players. A group of randoms that know how to play will always beat another group of randoms that don’t…

Assault is a toss up and the winning hand usually gets determined by where the system decides to spawn defenders. I’ve been spawned in the second base while still having to defend the first, and that’s due to someone just randomly walking around checking out the map. The spawn system does not favor the defenders, its almost as if you have to fight to get back into the base your defending…which makes no sense. If there are defenders in the base, you should spawn in base, if the attackers over take a majority of defenders, you should get spawned slightly outside, NOT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP.

I wish I could play more assault lol anytime I try to find a game there aren’t enough players.

I feel that it’s harder to defend

Hi guys, in my opinion there are some maps that advantage the offenser and others the difenders. I personally hate playing as an attacker in Urban and March on stormbreak (I don’t remember the actual name of the WWA map); In urban you need only one or two difenders camping on the roof of the garage spawnkilling most of the attackers and preventing them from getting in the base. In March On stormbreak the attackers initial spawn is so bad: if you are not playing full team it is almost impossible to get in the fortress, because you are stuck in these 2 terrible spawns. On the other hand it is so easy to cap the armory in Temple (don’t remember the name of the WWA map): attackers can get there from the roof, the doors and they can also ground-pound from the big rock above the roof of the armory.
This is just my opinion, let me know if you agree with me or not.
