Warzone Assault: Spawns

I feel like there is an overcorrection in Warzone Assault so that the game most often gets taken to the core. I agree that changes were needed to make it more balanced for the attackers, but I find a lot when I’m defending I spend too much tedious time running to my base to just get picked off along the way. It seems that spawns for defending are farther from the objective than spawns for attacking. Often times when I’m defending I get spawned in the core, and I don’t understand why when there is a closer spawn that I used just before. I don’t think any algorithm that determines how many attackers are in the base, etc., should spawn defenders so damn far consecutively.

Some argue that the core is the meat of assault, but if that were the case than you might as well just make a game called Core Assault and get rid of the first two objectives.
