In a typical Warzone Assault match the attackers try to push back the defenders until the core can be attacked. The defenders attempt to keep the bases under their control. The attackers try to kill everyone inside of the base and slowly(or quickly) capture the bases. The game ends when the core is destroyed or when the attackers run out of time. All of this is pretty much common knowledge. Though there are times when one side or the other has quite an unfair advantage. It could be because of the map, skill level, or simply which side you are.
- Temple. Please, either remove this map from rotation or fix the spawns. Defenders facing the wrong way, the temple being accessible to either side at any given moment, and defenders spawning right outside of their base only to be killed before they can really even get away. Honestly this is somewhat based on skill, but at the same time if you continuously spawn on the outside of your base then all you can do is die or hide in a corner.
- Prospect. I am naming this map specifically because it usually happens on this map. The defenders are doing well. The attackers are having their spawn zones invaded. Its cool if you are better than me. Its not cool when we attackers are attempting to run back to the core instead of taking the armory because we want to avoid dying. Safe zones for warzone assault would actually be nice to have. Unless the core is being rushed, attackers generally have at least one base the other side cannot touch. The same is not true for defenders. There is nowhere to go and very few places you can actually hide. I am not against the better team winning or dominating or whatever. I am against having the game force me to spawn into a situation where I cannot get away. In the last match we really were trying to run back farthing in the map away from the armory just to avoid dying repeatedly. You could argue that it would result in people just standing around and not actually fighting or helping. However, people already do that now anyway.
I think Temple is an excellent map. Built for Warzone Assault. It should be hard to take the armory/bases. Defending should also be hard.
Prospect is the only map I’ll have problems as an attacker because our spawns do get invaded. But then our spawns just switch to a different side of the map.

Urban has extremely bad spawns as well. I shouldn’t be spawning near the armory as an attacker if my team hasn’t captured the garage.
Don’t do assault often, but the one time I was on arc, I parked a Gauss hog outside the garage, in front of what turned out to be an enemy spawn point. You literally stumble across easy kill spawn points.

That’s what happened. We spawned in the back, then they invaded the back. We spawned on the far left side, and were shot by battle rifles before we could run for cover. We spawned on the far right side, and died some more.
Warzone respawns are worsened if you are killed while in possession of a power weapon / vehicle, for that increases the distance that you have to travel in order to get it back…before it despawns or someone else takes it.
It’s especially apparent in Firefight.
