The last game of warzone assault, this is what happened- My team was the attacking team, so we spawn- dead 10 seconds later, spawned again, wasp lasers me. 10 seconds later, spawn, shot in the back of the head with a battle rifle by a guy standing on a tower like spot on the place we were attacking, the spawns as the attackers, my god please fix them, the person with the most kills on my team that match only had 2 kills and we also didn’t pass REQ level 1
Well the good news is you were playing against a party so every game won’t be like that, but the bad news is they’re not doing those types of changes anymore so we’re stuck with what we have.
Warzone is broken as a whole IMO. Farming is bad in regular warzone and in assault spawn trapping is unbelievable. I put so many hours into it and it seemed to always be the same experience. If it’s in halo infinite which it most likely will be. I hope they address these issues. But yeah man I feel your frustration. Sorry to hear that.

this is the sad truth

That most likely was the case, but, what I don’t understand is, they had a wasp, and we hadn’t even passed REQ level 1, does each team have a different REQ level? I’m new to halo 5, and I don’t know much about REQs and all that.
WZA may be even more unbalanced than regular WZ. It seems 343 does not cap party sizes on WZA like they do for WZ. I watched my brother get matched against a company of 10.
I’m not sure how those big parties can get any real enjoyment from steam-rolling randoms. But really that’s on 343 for allowing huge mismatches to occur. At the end of the day, solo players will usually have significant disadvantages playing this (and many other) game mode.

Capping party sizes completely killed warzone. Both modes allow 12 players now. But the population dropped substantially when party restrictions were first put in place.
Theres much better ways ways to fix a game than capping fireteam size.
Matches like this are occasionally unavoidable at this point. In my experience classic Warzone was even worse a year to two years ago when you had lots of teams ganging up to triple cap and win games as fast as possible, which was mostly fixed with an update.
For what it’s worth, Warzone Assault is actually really fun If you get all randoms or mostly randoms. Like with any game mode though if you have a team of randoms face off against a full coordinated squad, like you experienced, it is usually a blood bath.
I wish they would just get rid of temple.

Can confirm. I had a game where the other team absolutely murdered us. I mean most people had single digit kills and deaths in the 30s. On top of that, they would LET one of our team capture a base at the last second in order to reset the time. It was insane, we were being toyed with.
Never tried it does not seem appealing especially now
WZA maps tend to lean to a specific side

Each player has a different REQ level as I understand it. Depending on how well your doing as an individual your REQ level is increased and you can REQ higher level guns or vehicles and select higher level load outs and armor mods. You want your team to progress to higher REQ levels faster than the other team to keep an advantage of firepower.
What the original poster experienced is when the opposing team REQs up so far beyond your team that there is not much you can do anymore with REQ 1 or 2 options against higher REQ vehicles.
Doubt they’ll fix it, when they first removed it…I assumed they did because sometimes the game-mode is unplayable due to how poorly balanced the mode is.

They removed it for population problems, deciding instead to put it in once a month as a featured playlist. It wasn’t to tinker with anything.

Yeh I know, they did it with other’s too, are all on a rotation but like said when they did it…I originally thought it was due to how unbalanced it was.
It’s not that Warzone Assault is broken (except for some spawn points, especially defender spawns on final base on Temple), it’s that people team up to stomp on kids in a social game mode. It’s really a shame.
