Warzone Assault is literally impossible

Winning as the offending team is literally impossible, I have yet to have a game where we even get through the first objective, let alone get the core. All the defenders have to do is sneak one guy in the corner of the base and now you can’t capture it. With so many entry points it’s impossible to keep them out and the fact you get so little time to do it is mind boggling. What do you get, 6 minutes? I’d recommend changing the capture system so that if there’s more cappers then defenders the base should start capping slowly. Any thoughts?

EDIT: I know it’s not really impossible, it was just every match I played in assault was on the offending team and had been constant losses, but recently I’ve been winning. It still seems really one way or the other though

I like that idea. As soon as i find the guy that is hiding, some more walk in.

Sorry haven’t had any issues went 2-2 last night in 4 games of assault.

I’ve had it split pretty evenly on my wins and losses when it comes to Assault. I thought the same thing the first time i played, because i lost my first two matches back to back, and hated it! However, I kept playing and got a couple of core destruction within 4 minutes. I’ve also been on the losing end of the defensive side before, and like i said, it’s split pretty evenly for me. I like the idea of changing the capture system though, i’ve been trying to think of a good way to revamp that, i just don’t agree with the idea that one guy could stop 12 spartans from capturing a base because he’s hiding in a corner…logic.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
Only played a few games of assault but found it hugely frustrating for all the reasons you have mentioned earlier.

Winning as the offending team is not impossible, I’ve won plenty of matches, Just strategize your Plan.

I’ve done it. It’s not impossible. And it’s most certainly not literally impossible.

By the way, what’s the difference between “impossible” and “literally impossible”?

While it is pretty frustrating, I think it’s just the design of the bases. I still win as the offending team about 50% of the time.

literally? Okay…

Yet to lose an assault game type. As offender and defender. I enjoy it, I think the base design could use some changes to make them slightly more interesting from both perspectives though.
But it ends up being a bit same same.

I came back from back to back grenade spam losses, I just used literally to emphasis the point and my frustration, sorry. I’ve tried planning with teammates but most don’t listen and I don’t want to have to go in a 12 man team every game.

In my experience the attackers just absolutely steamroll the defenders.

I’ve done it many times it’s not impossible.

It’s definitely possible (most of my assault victories have been offense I think) but yes, getting past the first objective is usually the hardest part of offense.

To be honest, It’s hard to lose as the offense.

I’ve won several games on offense. But it isn’t that fun. It feels like all you do is throw yourselves at the opposing team until you manage to breakthrough. For a player like me who traditionally has always played a bit more passively, getting the jump on people and trying not to die a whole lot, it’s seriously frustrating for me even if we win. I feel like there should be more to it than that.
