Warzone Assault Exploit

I’ve recently noticed a pretty big influx of this exploit being used (I’m not going to say or show how it’s done. Since I don’t want to spread it.) where an enemy or even friendly Spartan uses a game exploit to clip into the wall of the Armories on WA maps. Where they are able to contest Armory capture and are practically invincible, today alone I had at least four different matches in which this occured and it kinda goes without saying that it ruined those matches.

My questions are: A. Have the devs acknowledged this exploit and said they’re working on a fix.? B. Have any of you expierienced this in a match.?

Happy hunting, Spartans.

I’m not sure if 343 are aware but yes is the most likely case because forums. And yes I’ve witnessed this myself on many occasions its not fun at all the only way I know to stop it is a nice grav hammer to the “area” or a rocket

They might have the patches installed during the next update
Thats what i hope they would do

The exploit is where players shove vehicles up against the one way shields. They hop out against the shield and immediately thrust into the shield, getting them into the enemy base.

I’m pretty sure 343 are aware as I’ve seen it quite a lot on the forums here

No its a warthog glitch at the second base that lets them glitch into the wall, thus practically invincible while still inside the base…preventing it from capture.

Yeah, I experienced it two days ago for the first time. I don’t know if those guys do it regularly or just wanted to try it but nonetheless is it very cheap to use this expolit! I hope 343 will fix it soon.

There is a way to kill someone who glitched into the wall: just smack it with a Gravity Hammer, its shockwaves can penetrate walls!
Just as a tip for future encounters with those -Yoink- bags

You have to be able to find them though. There’s a couple different spots then can “fall” into. Played the other night where the enemy team camped the edge of the upper level and shot anyone who got close to the warthog to drop into the wall. Just sad it’s come down to that.

At this point, most people have experienced this. It’s really annoying, yet I’ve had conversations with a few of the people doing it (after I notified them I reported them for cheating). They don’t feel like they are doing anything wrong. I got the reply: “the devs left this in the game… I’m just exploiting it. It’s not cheating.” Can’t really argue with that logic / insanity.

The truth behind it is that this has been an issue for about 2 months now spanning 2 updates and it still isn’t patched. The mods on waypoint say that as far as they know 343i is aware of this and working on fixing it. But it seems to be super hard to fix or maybe the people using it most are the devs.

Happened the other night. Two such -Yoinks!- glitched into the wall, and while we managed to kill one, the other eluded all efforts to dislodge him.

What makes it even more slightly infuriating is when they gloat about their cheating ways and scoff at the report system.

No honor, any of 'em.

Report them, let your teammates know after the game so they can report them as well.

Oh ok, I didn’t know, you could glitch in different parts of the Armories.

I actually accidentally got myself stuck in the glitch while trying to kill some enemies that were inside it. Thankfully an enemy player killed me with a sword and we progressed the match.

I did post it with two videos with it. Apparently this is a known issue to a lot of people

Wow never noticed it, but will def keep an eye out for that one. Thanks for the heads up.

Encountered two players doing this glitch/cheat today. Went ahead and reported them via Xbox Live report system. However, this is not a “recent” exploit. It has been around for months, but I hadn’t seen it in a while until today. I know that 343i knows this is an issue, but it doesn’t seem that they have done anything to stop it from happening.

That’s what makes me the angriest. People were posting videos of it here earlier this year, and I thought, “Wow, that’s crazy! At least it’ll be patched soon.”

Yet, here we are. It’s still an exploit, and now that it’s widely known you can count on it in 95% of WZA matches.

I’ve seen that but they won’t care. If you don’t have video proof they probably won’t look at it. It’s happened to me 5 times already. If people have to cheat to win a game it’s just pathetic.

Experienced it twice, so far. First time was when a teammate did it in normal WZ on Apex 7, and the second time was an enemy on WZA on the ARC map. Someone eventually killed him or something, but as for the Apex 7 guy, I think he sat there the entire game…
