During a game on war zone assault, a friend of mine and I found a glitch where the enemy team somehow managed to capture the armoury before capturing the spire on the map Apex (the forest map). Apparently all they did was camp on top of the base for a minute or two and soon enough, the announcer says they captured it when we still had control of the spire.
To test this bug again, my friend and I went in another war zone assault game. The same bug happened on the map with the garage. We camped on top of the armoury and somehow managed to capture it before we captured the garage.
Has anyone else experienced this glitch / bug?
It’s not a bug it’s an exploit where you kill the marines and capture the base. It’s hilarious to do actually, it shortens the game and is a legitimate tactic to winning.

It’s clearly not legitimate. If it were, the forcefields wouldn’t be present. Just a bug.
Another part of this glitch is once the armory has been “taken”, the defending team begins spawning at the home base thus being forced to give up the spire/garage/fortress due to the extra 20 seconds or so that it takes to return to the battle. This unfair turn of events is certainly not a tactical move. I hope 343 makes an update soon.

The time also resets, giving the enemy team a fresh 6 minutes to capture the spire/garage.

Of course it’s a legitimate strategy to exploit a bug/flaw.
That’s obviously why 343i is patchingit.
