Just dropping what most likely is a common thread… maybe not, but here to talk about getting absolutely thrashed in warzone lately and how I’m always on the receiving team.
Now i know the first thing that comes to mind, probably along the lines of, “Get better” or what have you but I have my spouts of decent games. Generally going positive and or getting 25 plus kills, but in no way close to some halo gods out there with consistent 40 kills plus a game.
Anyway, tl;dr I’m constantly getting into games with less than adequate help from teammates apparent skill level in comparison to the other team. Bad luck? I’m inclined to believe so. Can’t think of worse outcomes than being spawn bombarded on Apex 7 or any map for that matter, that persuades you to shelve the game away for a time… is there a hidden skill calculator included in matchmaking or is it due to solo queuing?
The only map I can think of where warzone is especially broken is “Escape From ARC”, if you lose your armory without taking another base then the match is pretty much over right there.

Apex 7 is the best map because it’s the hardest to spawn trap the core. You can escape up top, two directions out of the front, and the enemy team has to wrap around from the armory to get to you.
Anywho, a lot of you obviously share experiences with me. I believe A.R.C. is the worst of the bunch as you hardly spawn inside your base after 3 bases have been taken, obvious remedy is don’t let that happen.
I mean today after my second game I had to palm it off to my mate (whom got pasted in the consequtive game). Because it was spawn followed by either a shotgun, sniper, wraith, gungoose or banshee death. Suffice to say the old irritability was high at this moment.
Also a victim of attempting to recollect the ‘closest’ armoury from your home base on Stormbreak but it always seems like you’re solo against 4-5 enemies with no reprieve so. Maybe I’m the opposite of the Chief and suffer from a LACK of luck. Haha (cheap halo reference obvs).
