Warzone and WZ Assault unplayable, ping issues

I have a pretty decent ping, but I do have ping jitter issues. In most online video games, this doesn’t affect me in any noticeable way, though. However Halo 5 is a major exception. It’s only occasionally somewhat noticeable in Arena, but in Warzone and Warzone Assault where there are 24 players, it becomes catastrophic for me and makes the match completely unplayable. In 1 second intervals throughout the whole match, every other player will jump around and teleport/rubberband, kill me through walls, kill me with only half the shots actually registering on my screen, etc. When I go into theater to check out what I look like to other players, I’m sitting still in those 1 second intervals and being a super easy target. So not only is it harder for me to actually hit anyone, but everyone else has an easier shot on me. Again, this makes it completely unplayable.

It’s been like this for several months. If I had to make an estimate, I’d say about 6. I haven’t been able to have a single playable Warzone or Warzone Assault match since then.

Obviously the solution is to clear up my own ping jitter issues (which requires either switching ISPs or paying hundreds of dollars for them to run some new cables directly to our house), but since Halo 5 is the only game where I actually have this issue, I’d like to know what exactly causes Halo 5 to behave differently and if 343 can do something about it. Even in Battlefield where there are 64 players I don’t have this issue.

Please, any info is greatly appreciated. I’d like to know why I’m experiencing such disproportionately horrible lag for this game.
