Has 343 said if they are supposed to be a simulation like multiplayer was in H4.
What is the point of this thread? They are both simulations I think. I know Warzone is and I’m pretty sure Arena is.

I was curious, is that ok with you?
It makes sense that it’s a simulation since Roland and Palmer are the announcers for Arena and Warzone respectively.

The big idea is that you’re a Spartan aboard the Infinity and they use combat simulations to train you and your fellow Spartans to get you ready for real operations. Since they believe that Spartans are the best warriors in the galaxy, what better way to train them than by pitting them against each other?

I get it just wasn’t sure if they had carried it over from H4.
It would be cool if some modes were supposed to take place in a battle between Spartans and the Covenant.

Or if there was a strictly PvE version of Warzone with a story line, I suppose that would just be Spartan Ops though. Or event weekends were Warzone was scaled down to 4v4 and Blue Team was well Blue Team and Red was Osiris, and you played as the members of each team.
