Personally I think that warzone is a very entertaining game mode in the history of the franchise, however sometimes it can turned out to be either slow, repetitive or boring, and for such, this are some changes that I would make if the game mode returns in any future game, I’ll try to incomporate some of the elements from another game modes like BTB or Dominion and maybe Invasion, without further a do, shall we begin?

The BaseI think a way to improve the experience towards the base would be that the base would be upgrading overtime, for example, normally a warzone base is exposed for anyone to take however, what if instead it after a few minutes it spawned a shield door that could be taken out by some shots, and then if the door has not taken any more damage, then the door would be upgraded to a blast door, that work automatically when an ally goes through, however it would not offer energy shielding meaning enemies could go inside while it’s opened due to a teammate going inside, another upgrade it could perform would be that initially spawn a normal turret, and then it would upgrade to a more powerful fixed turret like that seen in Halo 2, or having a pelican or darter coming rutinarly flying and dropping supplies, however it could be taken out of the skies by the enemies, and finally that in order for the enemy team to being able to access the core, just like in normal warzone they would need to capture the 3 (or even 5) bases in the map, however unlike normal warzone, they would need to destroy a mini-core that was on the base that would have around 75% of the health of the main core, once they have been destroyed, then they can go and siege the main core.
*minor edit I totally forgot to put it on the article until someone brought it up, another funtion of the bases if they are capture, any and all fortifications and upgrades would reset and have to be progressed again. -
The AIs Normally AIs are kinda overlooked for example normally when deployed we have to clean a base and then procede to the rest of the match and occasionally fighting more when fighting a boss, however it’d make a better relationship if random enemies would roam around the maps without the need of a boss, or that said enemies would try to take to capture a base by themselves, another idea would be that similar to that in the previous topic,the marines (which should use the H2A Marine BDU) protecting the bases could go trough an ¨upgrade¨ and become ODSTs, then ONI Marines (Which should use the 343 design) and finally Spartan IVs as well as being able to trade weapons with the player.

The GameplaySome other topics I would like to are for example a system in which the scopes and attachments were independant from one another meaning we wouldn’t end up with 50+ BRs, another would be to have 24 players on every team, and maybe this implicating that the game mode would finish on 10 000 VPs, also having classic maps, being redesigened as warzone maps, such as Blood Gulch (Most especificlly Bloodline from H2A), Standoff, or Spire,and finally being able to use the game mode in custom modes, as well as having their version for Firefight.
