Head To Head Battle… Who Would Win?
I’d say the Hog would win as long as there’s actually someone in the turret. The only thing the Ghost would be able to do is boost away.
In Reach, I would have said the Ghost.
But in H4, neither are very good quality. The Ghost is a lot more maneuverable (noticeable when boosting, very responsive strafe), which is what I always wanted, but it flips more easily and it’s like a mini-Wraith when it comes to splatter. It just isn’t as fun to fight or utilize (ok, sometimes I like splattering with it). So I’ll say the Hog, despite it’s horrific engine sound.
Covenant vehicles are way too weak. So the Hog.

I am a damn fine Ghost Rider, but a Warthog will still tear me up in open field head to head battle.
It’s about the only thing the Warthog is good for now except for maybe acting as portable cover.
If you can get someone in the turret, then the 'hog beats the ghost any day.
I rammed a Ghost off the map the other day with the Rocket Hog on Vortex. Sent it right over the edge, so i say…the Warthog.
The ghost has never beat the warthog, nor will it ever.
The ghost has less health, and puts out less damage. It is purely an anti-infantry hit-and-run vehicle.
