Hey guys, I was watching some gameplay on longbow and I noticed the warthog has a turret limit like in Reach, personally I don’t really mind if it has a limit, but do you guys think there should be a limit? plus it could change since the footage I watched was just a build but yeah limit or no limit?
Limit is good
well it stops people from just holding down the right trigger while on the warthog.
another thing I would really like to see is if they made it so you wouldn’t lose ammo whilst inside the passenger seat, it might still seem stupid to go inside it but at least it’ll give people a little more of an incentive to jump in that baby.
Not really a big deal; I mean, it’s not like the turret take more than a few seconds to get a kill.

That would mean you could get unlimited Rockets, Sniper, grenades, etc…
I like the cooldown, in Halo 3 you could just hold the trigger the whole match, gets annoying and a bit op.
I don’t really mind whether there is a limit or not for the turret. I am just going to miss unlimited boost for ghost
Meh…I don’t mind. I never use it that much anyway.
I dislike it
It makes the hog weaker and limited .
Although its here to stay so I will have to adapt and just play thhe game .
You all do realize that the limit is realistic correct? The military wouldn’t just overshoot their 50’s on their jeep’s, that would cause over-heating (as we see in Halo: Reach) and would melt and warp the barrel’s, making it unusable when needed.
So I like the limit, honestly, gives people more of a reason to burst it or control it. More skill needed, and before casual and MLG communities jump on this comment.
It’s just an opinion, not something that has to be fact, people can play how they want.

Realism in Halo?
-Yoink- PLEASE!
Nah I’m just kidding.
i think the main reason 4 why people holding down the trigger in halo 3 was to keep the turret up to speed. now don’t flame me but the levels in the COD games where u are a gunner with a similar gun to the chain gun on the hog you could keep the gun up to speed by spooling it up (that is just spinning the barrels not firing.)so that is may 2 cents, what if we could spool the gun up and just maintain the spool then fire when we need to. BTW i am not one of those guys that would just hold down the trigger.
I like the limit, while I’m not up for 100% realism I think that a limit on a Warthog is fine.
Makes you think about who you’re shooting and how long you can do it for.
Once it cools down quicker than Reach, I’m fine with it. I don’t know how many times I could’ve gotten overkills in the warthog turret but it heats up too quickly. >:(
But in Halo 4, it looks like it heats up fast and cools down fast which is a good thing.
