Anyone know if warthogs are affected by it? That chaingun having a SS/zoom function might refresh the feel of the hog a bit. Kind of like what turret cooldown did.
Would make the Gauss amazing/overpowered. It would have to have a reduced fire rate or something.
Also, do you think the passenger will have SS riding shotgun?

How do you feel about turret SS on the hog? How it would affect the turret functionality.
I’m unsure if smart scope will stay with a passenger or turret gunner as they will be in the third person. But the turret getting reduced spread will not be something I will enjoy. When in a vehicle, you should go towards your enemy to get those fresh kills. I fear people will stay far back as possible with an accurate death machine.
It would be actually kinda cool to see it hook up to the visor of your spartan.
I could see it aiding lockons with the Rocket Hog, but I don’t really see a valid use for the other two besides accuracy increase, which might break the vehicles a little.

Eh. I feel like it would break the hog. You need that view of everything around you, especially in this faster than necessary game.

Maybe they could balance it by… Making the gunner more exposed? Like the spartan gunning gets on tippy toes or something lol
Never though of this. Whilst zooming, the accuracy would increase… But it does seem as there are some people that can COMPLETELY control a game by driving a Warthog. So I don’t know if ramping it up even more would work.

With the quick TTK in 5, it might be really easy to kill drivers/gunners. Maybe in the released game the hogs will need buffed due to the increased TTK? I can see that happening.

It felt to me like the hogs in 4 were made of paper, with everyone spawning with plasma pistols and sticky grenades. Maybe this is the boost the hog needs to stay relevant in a game where quick movement on foot is something everyone has.

Nah, i think they should keep spartan abilities out of btb maps and vehicles. Spartan abilities are more for close quarters and small maps, especially zoom.
