Warthog run... yay or nay??

So I was wondering if the final mission would end with some form of Warthog run…?

This was one of the things I looked forward to in past Halo titles, although it would feel weird driving to any other song other than the classic Halo theme. However, I’m eager to see what 343 has in store for the final act.

If it wasn’t in this one, I’d hope to at least see it in the final game of the trilogy… Halo 6, sort of as homage to the past Bungie titles.

I don’t know if this was mentioned elsewhere but how do you guys feel about it?

I would love a Warthog run in the final mission, but something new would be cool, like a Mantis plod, or an Mammoth crawl…

Yeah this was brought up before but since they disabled the search function you’ll never find it.

The general feeling was about 50/50 alot of people would like to see it because “it is Halo” but others are saying time to move on.

I, personally coundnt care how they end this game aslong as its epic and ive had one hell of a ride through the campaign.

That would be possom grade ossom. Although that could be used as an opportunity to pilot a pelican.

Not in this one.

They are always fun and Epic, especially if you have your buddies with you Co-op, but you have to space them out a bit. But then again, Halo needs to at least have one Epic vehicle based mission, or it wouldn’t be a Halo title, but it shouldn’t be the final run.

I dissagree its foremost a Halo thing, regardless of who the Dev is.

Nay.

Been there twice, done that.

First was epic as hell.
Second was dissapointing as hell.
Would’ve appreciated a “Sabre run” at the end of Reach, but didn’t get that…and that’s it for Warthog runs for me.
I’d rather see something a bit more original.

PS: I’m not against a Warthog run in the game. Like how H2 basically had one on the beaches of Old Mombasa. I just don’t want the game to end with one.

No warthog run, when we had to do a warthog run in Halo 3 it pissed me off.

I’m always for a Warthog run in the end, unless there’s a Tartarus-style “boss” battle. Better yet, add both.
