So I believe it was the Sprint that they first mentioned they were toying with the idea of four people on a warthog so no one was left behind in campaign, though I haven’t seen anything past a development image of a spartan on the hood of a Warthog. Recently, gameplay of a few missions has surfaced from a few YouTubers like Ready Up Live, and I have been avoiding watching them because of spoilers but I am wondering: has anyone tried to put their whole team (including themselves of course) in a warthog? Additionally, have we seen anything about the Scout Warthog? Is this like the Troop Transport seen in 3 and Reach or is it something else?
Nope that idea has been scrapped, probably because it’s hard to make a Spartan riding on the hood of a Hog not look ridiculous.
Not sure about the Scout warthog though. It could be a Troop Hog but my guess is it is a low-tier variant of the regular chaingun hog, maybe faster or better turret accuracy. Just a guess though.

I mean there are a few thing they could have done instead. Maybe they hang off of the side of the gunner spot similarly to how they now hang off of the Scorpion? Additionally they could have placed a seat somewhere on the back section in a way so it wouldn’t interfere with the gunner. Maybe the back folds out slightly so there is space? I feel like there was definitely a lot of options.
