OK, everyone is familiar with the Warthog races. I love them, but I think 343 may try something different this time around. I have a feeling that they aren’t doing Warthog races in this trilogy. I don’t have a problem with them continuing Warthog races , but anyone else up for something different that could replace the old tradition?
Ideas, or not up for it?
With what they did with the warthog in the Forza preview, i would hope we still get a race type. And I’m still waiting on the troop hog…

Its hard to think of ideas when we don’t know the ending. The Warthog races were a great way to end the game and I would be sad to see them go. I can’t even think of anything worthy of replacing it.

Meh. I like Warthog races, but aren’t they getting a little overused?
Chief pilots a Forerunner War Sphinx out of a crumbling Shield World. That’s how I’d do it.

Put a new spin on it. Halo CE, 3 and ODST all had some sort of warthog run in the final level, Reach had a small segment that was very similar to one. How about something aerial this time? Something that feels familiar but isn’t just a rehash of what we’ve done before.

Btw, sabre escape? What is this, Super Metroid? Alright, to get serious for a moment, the wonderful warthog race out of the POA… to replace that… I can’t think of any vehcile that was just so… light armored, but mobile as the warthog to beat it. I personally like the idea of driving while all around me blows up and leaves me the thought provoking idea that your racing a clock to avoid being blown to tiny, microscopic, bits. So if they chose to choose another vehicle, I’m only going to ask that you don’t use this:

Total badassery lol. It can work for the next 2 games as well. Lol every ending turning up like that. Screams action movie. Nearly escaping death.
I did not partake in one single warthog race. Now mongoose racing on the other hand…
