hello all, just coming through with a quick question. main point of view: the warthog. I have been trying and trying to get that pesky acheivment for the DLC maps, however running over people seems a much harder task then I had originally thought. The warthog is poor at accelerating, and all out driving. I feel that I am the slowest thing on the map, getting stuck with ease, trying to get in and out in vain as my warthog slowly limps away. I end up dieing very fast. any tips to get this the right way with a warthog? I tried the grav lift thing, but it’s a no go.
Some driving tips:
-When turning around corners always apply a little bit of the brakes.
-In order to land jumps properly, use brakes in midair and for a split second when landing.
-Always plan out your movement before you actually do it. For example; “I’m going to turn around this corner at this point in time.” etc. The warthog isn’t so great at making quick turns, and if you do need to make a quick turn, refer to tip #1.
For the splattering thing, I’m not so sure. I haven’t tried it, but finding a group of people while having a gunner on the back should help. Most people focus on the gunner and it gives you some space to go in for the splatter while getting a few wheelmans out of it as well. Good luck.
