Basically Flood warzone. Spartans vs Flood, you still capture points on the map and the flood use primarily melee but you’d be able to pick from different flood types once your team gets enough infection points instead of req points. That way you would be able to get a type that has a gun or those annoying spidery ones from halo 3 that shoot (assuming) bone fragments.
Also side note, what happened to the brutes?
The flood is being excluded from the past few games with the introduction of the prometheans(which are designed to kill flood). As for why idk and any reintroduction would be nice. As for anything adding onto the 2 category Warzone list I will gladly accept.
But you’d think the elites would use the brutes as like slaves or cannon fodder. Keep them in cages barely fed then drop them down in drop pods first. It’d be a similar situation to the berserker from gears.

Yeah, the Brutes are kinda sorta stomped flat right now.
It has merit, if the whole point of warzone and war games is to prepare the spartans for any eventuality, then the Flood are still a potential threat.
I’d like a warzone where there is only flood that spawns continuously. It would be the same as regular warzone, 3 bases and enemies trying to take them all over to destroy your core. But the flood would also try to take over bases, and could succesfully take them and control them with defenders. No bosses spawn, just flood of varying levels. The catch is, if the flood hold all bases, they can destroy a teams core, or if one team holds all the bases, the flood and that team sort of work togethrr to destroy the other teams core. The catch is that when a core is destroyed, that team becomes infected and then the flood and team of infected have to take over the bases and destroy the other teams core.
Even though i know this would never work for many, many reasons, probably because the games would last forever and there is no real winner unless there is a timelimit. I still can dream
