mY ONLY REAL CONCERN IS WHETHER OR NOT THE JET PACK WILL STILL BE AWSOME.
In reach it was a happy medium between recharging fast but moving slowly and very poorly side to side. I hope its either very similar to reach’s jet pack or you have even more control of yourself while flying. I can’t wait to sprint into jet pack flight.
F U Armor Lock.
Please tell me Armor Lock won’t be back.?
P.S. when can I get my hands on Halo 4?
Sprint plus Evade would be outrageous. Please tell me what Forerunner Vision is
Ill bet the shotty is gonna be great and so is the Sniper. Shotty Snipes Playlist, please
Also i hope Jetpack (rather not have it in after Reach. Not a big fan of spawning with advantages you didn’t earn either) gets a nerf so that map control isn’t pooped on and turn the entire game into Team Boba Fett.
It’s fair to assume that 343 has learned from Reach if Armor Lock is gone now.
Evade should be too, as it was Elites’ signature AA, and Elites aren’t returning.
As for Jetpack, and how much of a map-breaker / experience-ruiner it was in Reach, plus how it will be coupled with Sprint now, a nerf would make sense. I expect a super jump at most, somewhat like a weak man-cannon.
I don’t know how the Jetpack will perform, but in answer to your other questions:
Armour Lock is not returning in Halo 4. It’s gone.
Halo 4 releases 6th of November, 2012. Remember not to forget.
And I doubt that Evade will return; the only armour upgrades confirmed thus far are Forerunner Vision and Jetpack, with Sprint being available to everyone regardless of Loadout.

Armour lock will not be returning.
Halo 4 will be released on November 6th.
Custom game types will allow you to do that, but a shotty snipes playlist is possible.

Wow! You guys are all crybabies about the jet pack. Yup, its not cool to fly, no one wants that superpower, not fun at all. Most likely you get owned by kids (like me) who jet pack all over your face.

thanks for the helpful response. could you tell me a bit about the Forerunner Vision? that sounds cool.
> WHAT IF YOU COULD DO BACK FLIPS AND BARREL ROLLS LIKE THE BANSHEE DOES? THATD BE THE MAN!!!
Eh, I wouldn’t like that too much. It’s a rather silly idea and would make the jetpack way too powerful. To be honest, it should be weaker than it was in Reach, having a smaller usage time and a longer cooldown.

From what we’ve heard, it’s basically like VISR from ODST combined with a sonar. To me it sounds as though you press the button, it sends out a pulse with a limited range and you see the outlines of enemy positions within a certain radius.

I doubt your skill as a player but this irrelevant.
We are not “cry babies” as its relativity easy to shoot kids like you out of the air.
No, when a full team uses Jetpack and knows what to do (and not to do), it becomes apparent that the other AAs become irrelevant. Even Armor Lock. So the game becomes a “one loadout” game and removes the choice aspect from choosing your loadouts.
Just because the common idiot doesn’t know how to use doesn’t mean the problem isn’t there. It most certainly exists and Reach’s maps can easily be abused with it. Reflection and the pillars come to mind (not to mention blue team gets -Yoink- spawns at bottom elevator with sword as only PW) while Reds get rocks, shotty, and Sniper.

From what we’ve seen, the radar is the same as always. I don’t think they’d remove something like that.

Guys, keep this civil. Opinions on a gameplay feature do not indicate skill level.
