Warlord Achievement Won't Unlock

I won on all 3 original maps and it is stuck at 33%. I reinstalled, deleted cache, changed servers, etc… I notice from other forums that this issue has been going on since launch. That is sad I miss the Bungie era of Halo with real customer service. 343 deciding to ignore a huge bug in this game especially for an achievement. 343 why isn’t this being addressed?

I had no issue unlocking it. You might try winning on the maps the same day? Not sure that will do it, but it’s the only thing I can think of. You sure have alot of quits i mean ugh, err, disconnects on your record, not sure if that is an issue as well.

I am having the same issue.

I have been looking for an answer to this.

Do it again and expect different results?

I played a couple of matches of Warzone FF and the achievement suddenly popup up. I always thought it was bound to normal Warzone matches but apparently the game decided that was not the case.

try this method and if you get it by this way I hope you will comment on that topic about it and confirming it at the same time.

also, if you havent yet unlocked this achievement. Then try the method in the link of my previous comment. Posted this just in case that you havent followed this topic.

Hi Everyone,
I spent quite a lot of effort to finally get this one. I am writing this with the steps that seemed to consistently fix the achievement for me.Background:
Won at least 1 complete match (didn’t get thrown into already started match) on all required maps (A.R.C., Apex 7, and Stormbreak). Was still stuck at 0%…Here is what I followed to finally start getting progress to move from 0% (Note - some may not be required but only started moving when I did all of these):
1. Quit open game:
Xbox button → Quit Halo 5 if open.
2. Blu-ray persistent storage clearing:
Xbox button → Settings → All Settings → Disc & Blu-ray → Blu-ray → Persistent Storage → Select and Clear persistent Storage.
3. Remove controller connection to console:
Unplug Controller/Remove batteries
4. Hard power Xbox off and clear cache:
Hold Xbox power button on front of Xbox for 10 seconds until it hard powers off.
Unplug Xbox One from rear of console → Leave unplugged for 3-5 minutes to clear cache.
5. Plug-in controller and power on:
Plug in controller → Power on Xbox One
6. Remove Xbox profile:
Xbox button → Settings → All Settings → Account → Sign-in security & passkey → Remove me from this Xbox → Remove account and re-sign in.
7. Launch Halo 5:
Go into the game, data should resync when at Halo menu.
8. Set expanded search type and start game:
Go into Warzone and select Expanded search filter. If you don’t get the map required, I hit Xbox button and quit Halo 5 (Sorry, not normally a poor sport, but when they make buggy things I am limited on time/patience).After following these steps, the next Loss on A.R.C. moved me from 0-33% and next win on Apex 7 moved me to 66%.
****Make sure that you take note which map registers on the achievement as these maps wont be necessary to play again to count for the achievement. After this, my progress halted again after winning and losing multiple games on Stormbreak. I knew Stormbreak was the last required win to get the achievement. So I checked progress after each game/reset of system cache etc. above.
I tried several of the steps above leaving out the Bluray persistent storage clearing and could not get it to move after more wins/losses on Stormbreak.
This morning, I followed all steps above and after first loss it popped! Finally!Anyhow, this was highly frustrating and I spent a lot of time researching this and even reached out to Microsoft Xbox support. They recommended uninstalling the game and reinstalling. That alone made no difference for me. Save yourself the 92GB re-download and re-install :)Several side notes:

  1. I did perform all these steps in order and did not clear the persistent blu-ray storage and the progress was not moving. This could be key. Didnt make much sense as I have the digital download… but anyhow…
  2. The last time to get Stormbreak to pop, I cleared the Bluray persistent storage. I then remove profile before hard powering the Xbox down. I then unplugged over night and came back to the steps above. I say this because I think the profile can be removed before the Xbox power down or after powering back on after letting cache clear for 3 minutes.
  3. I got two of my three required wins to register on losses on the required maps. I did win on these prior, though.
  4. Prior to me getting the achievement, I did do two Halo game quits from the Xbox dashboard on two unneeded maps and finally got Stormbreak and lost and the achievement popped. Because of this, I do not believe quitting the game from Xbox menu messes with the achievement progress to require the steps above.
  5. If you do the steps above and it stops or does not move, do all steps again. This is tedious and lame, I understand… this is the only thing that worked for me.Anyhow, if you have any questions or want clarification on my notes above, feel free to reach out.

This seems very familiar to other ways I’ve tried and had no success. Plus I can’t play the game anymore because I hate it. Every time I try, I usually don’t finish a game because I’m that bored.
