so just made this topic to see if this is unlocking to others as i unlocked it few weeks ago. So basically I had been trying to get this achievement by playing regular warzone and I was on the winning team for at least 5 times on each map required (escape from A.R.C, raid on apex 7 and march on stormbreak), so i thought that either the achievement is glitched or i was doing something wrong so i moved on to playing warzone firefight and got to the first place on each of the mentioned maps and the achievement unlocked. So basically im asking whether you got the achievement the same way or some way different?
It is worth a shot. I am playing Warzone FF now. I will update if I get this elusive achievement.

happy if this helped. Also the 343i should have specified “winning” in these 3 maps a bit better like that you have to be the number 1 player on each map. And the reply helps this too by confirming the method. Also im curious to know whether other people got it by getting on 1st place on regular warzone or by other means. Well, at least it was easier getting on warzone FF since its only pve and i usually get in the 1st place on that, i wonder if there is better players (usually) on regular warzone. Again, this should have been specified better since being on a winning team is technically winning.

side note: To usually get to the 1st place just remember the words of sarge like:
“Men, here is where we show those split-chin, squid-head, sons of btches that they could not have picked a worse enemy than the human race. We are going to blow the hll out of those dumb bugs until we don’t have anything left to shoot 'em with! And then, we are going to strangle them with their own living guts! Am I right, Marines?”
and many more like that.
I actually got it while playing warzone FF. I always thought it was bound to normal warzone matches.

me too. It was a bit of frustration for nothing and it should have been specified better. And again a comment that is confirming the method so im happy about it.
Are there any others that can confirm or deny this method? I’m running a TrueAchievements.com session to try this method but would like further confirmation before session time.

This is absoluteley ridiculous. I’ve had multiple wins from the freaking lobby on ARC, Raid and Stormbreak and I’m still stuck at 33%. I’ve tried everything. Removed profile, cleared cache, uninstalled/ reinstalled, reset my internet, played the same 3 maps over and freaking over again; I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING! I’ve even tried calling 343i a bunch of worthless -Yoink- suckers and still I get nothing. Achievements are showing up late, sometimes the indication wont even show up and it’s not just me. So instead of giving us some stupid blow-off answer like “we’re working on it” or “we’re aware of it” etc, DO SOMETHING TO FIX IT. I’m not the only one that’s having or has had these issues but instead of fixing them all you freaking people do is suck each others hemorrhoids. Look, I don’t care if you delete this or whatever it is you do (probably nothing which seems to be your M.O.) just underneath it please put why this is happening and a solution for all of us. I’m not wrong here, I know for a fact theres at least 1 person that deals w/ these issues thats a hemorrhoid sucker and a few are -Yoink- suckers. Half of you probably go out an -Yoink- a farm animal or 2 but I don’t care. I just want you to FIIIIIXXXXX THIIISSSS PRRROOBBLLLEEMMMMMM!!!
@riotfyre I understand your frustration, especially the fact that it’s happened to so many people and the usual response is “that didn’t happen to me.” A lot of people I know got the achievement without even getting the requirements done, while me, you, and others can’t get it to pop after meeting the requirements several times over. I’m running a session Saturday to see if we can get it to pop using the suggested method in this thread, no real expectations though. I wish they would say that they will take care of the problem in an update, but that seems too much for them, to even validate the problem. Anyway, check this thread Saturday and I should have an update on this method.

well, i had it stuck for a while but after I tried to get it in Warzone FF and that I got to the first place the achievement popped. I really hope that you will get it when you try it.

And i dont know whether you are trying to get 343i’s attention (which you get but im not sure if it helps) or if you are answering to this topic in which case this has certainly not have been a “were working on it” but instead this is a method in which way at least 2 other people have confirmed it after I got it this way. So basically its just Warzone FF, each required map and 1st place. And if it works for you, i just wish that you comment here confirming the method. For if this is the way you get it then they should specify it in the achievement description (the 1st place part).
Honestly I think the whole 1st place warzone ff thing is a fluke right? Especially cause the “Tour of Duty” and “Not Your First Rodeo” achievements kind of coincide. On top of that, when I got the “Warzone” achievement progress to 33, I cleared the cache, played yet ANOTHER match on Stormbreak (regular Warzone) and it moved up from 0. Since then, tried the same methods everybody else has tried over and over again and still nothing. I’m going to try your method again and see what happens but other than that I’ve had nothing but problems with the xbox one.
lol. Now when I play Halo 5 and check achievements, it says “Launch a game to see achievements” C’mon guys please fix this game. I’ve played every Halo but I can tell you this will change no matter what because of lack of support. But if you guys wouldn’t mind helping me as a person who bought this game, even though I won’t be buying any new Halo or 343 games anymore, I’d still appreciate it. Is there a way to email 343 directly? As I have serious doubts they do anything with this forum, besides banning people for bashing a game they spent money on, and 343 having zero interest in fixing the problems they sent it with.

Dude, Hizzler you hit it right on the head. I myself will NEVER buy another 343i game and once I’m done with the achievements on 5 I’ll probably never play it again. This is insane. I’ve been looking around for some kind of way to contact them myself but all I could find is this email community@halowaypoint.com (which isn’t much help conidering where it leads) contacting bs angel on twitter & hope for a reply (not sure if thats gonna work cause I’m not sure they’re on here anymore) OR just make a bunch of noise on here and hope they see it and want to do something about it. I really hope one of them sees this, takes the time to read it and explains to us why they don’t consider themselves freaking oxygen thieves.

And it seems that the 343i has made games that have lots of bugs but that seems to be a problem with most of the current gen games since companies can rush the release because internet connection allows patches. Imagine someone shipping a broken game when there was only offline consoles. They could have gotten sued and forced to pull back the game. The ability to patch a game is both blessing and a curse. And the reason the xone has more rushed releases than x360 is for the fact that the publishers noticed that most of the games are bought near the release and they just want to get the game released on certain time-period, no matter whether the game is finished or not for they can always patch it and have the money immediately. And the only thing to fix this situation is either not buying the next game and/or buying the games later in general which forces the publishers to rethink their strategy to release more finished games.

well, all i got from that link is that he tried it in 1 map but this method requires finishing a match in 1st place on each of the match. And sure its understandable that you dont have plans to buy any 343i games which is highly understandable for even im considering not buying a Halo game first time since 2001 but if you want a game that is likely good then check out those that are first games and not one in a franchise. Though you should check a Real player reviews of those too to make sure its not highly bugged because of the inexperience of the developers or the rushing of the publishers. Anyway i hope youll get a solution for this problem easier than i did when i figured this one method discovering this particular method on my own with luck.

I played classic warzone. One time I won “Raid on Apex 7” and I saw my warlord achievement progress jump to 33% and I DID NOT place first, I was just on the winning team.
Then I won also on the other two required maps (several times) but the achievement progress is still stuck at 33%. I think I never placed first on warzone…I’m pretty good but there is always someone better.

it was pretty much same situation for me as i explained in the description but then i got bored trying that and got into playing warzone firefight and after i got to the 1st place on each map required, the achievement popped.
