So, after the firefight update, we now get a lot more chance to get those enemy slayer commendation. But one of them has bothered me quite a bit, the warden slayer. I’m at level 4 but have been stuck there for quite a while. I’m pretty sure I do have killing blows of the warden in recent games. Does this commendation apply to firefight? Or just normal Warzone? Any tips for how to get it?
If the warding is in his dying animation it’s possible to maybe steal the kill commendation just like with the rewarded kill glitch cause I have gotten the medal for killing him before when the points went to the enemy.
For any one unaware it’s possible to steal a team mates vehicle kill if you shoot it as it is blowing up and you will get the power weapon kill for it if used and it will count towards your commendation. I’ve even got a splatter once that was by the enemy because I killed them just at the right time as they hit a team mate.
There is even a double kill glitch that rewards you 2 kills for 1 kill I’m not sure how or why it happens but if I ever find out I’ve been curios if it could happen with bosses.

You can get the commendation to progress through firefight, its actually a lot easier to some degree in firefight to get. I’m a rather high level so ive unlocked all REQs outside of emblems and from my experiences tanks work the best against the Warden, especially the Hannibal Tank or Mantis. Basically my recommendation is to go in firefight and if you get a warden round and can use a tank sit back a bit and pound him with a Tank, do enough damage, and you don’t actually have to kill him. Its a misconception that you actually have to get the killing blow to receive credit for the kill, all you have to do is do enough damage and you will get credit (meaning the legendary takedown medal pops up), hope this helps.
The issue is you need to actually kill Warden. You can’t just get the boss takedown medal. You need to actually get the final kill shot on Warden Eternal. That is far harder to do than getting the medal for the takedown.

You need to final shot. What you said will only get you credit for the medal, not the commendation.
I use to think it would never happen, but I got it eventually. Just keep at it. You will get there.
