My Warden Slayer Commendation is stuck at 4/10 on level 5. I just got a Warden kill in my last Warzone game and it is still at 4/10. By now I would be finished this commendation if this problem wasn’t happening. Any help is appreciated.
If you see a red “X”, then you got it. If you don’t, then you didn’t.
Yeah I got the last hit on the Warden I’m pretty sure I got the kill. Also they made it so that if you do 1% of damage to a boss and your team gets the kill it counts as you getting the kill so does that not count for commendations??

Correct it does not count for a commendation. As tiger Lilly said, to be awarded the commendation, you need to see the red X. You have to be alive and doing heavy damage when he expires. Warden was the last enemy commendation i completed.

Oh God… That’s going to take forever. It’s my last enemy commendation as well.
You need the last hit. Everyone gets progress and points for it in game. But only 1 person gets the progress toward the commendation.
It took me about 50 matches of Warzone to get my remaining 12 Warden kills. There was a match on Battle of Noctus in which I got both Warden kills with the same Arclight–which I was actually able to screenshot. I’d done it before, in the exact same way, but I couldn’t view the post-game stats after the match. Those were my 8/10 and 9/10 kills. A Saw will also increase your chances because of its rate of fire, but the main thing that helps when you’re on foot is active camo. I just wait until I’m certain that I have a high chance of getting the kill, and then attack.
