Is anyone else having a problem in Warzone where killing the Warden Eternal in game will not count towards the Killing Wardens commendation? I have killed at least 3-4 Warden Eternals in the last couple of days while playing Warzone, but my commendation is stuck at 2/3 on level 2. If anyone knows why, or if there is a fix, please help!
If you are getting the medal that doesn’t mean you are actually getting the last blow. To get +1 toward the warden commendation you must absolutely deal the final hit to him.
Yeah, it’s annoying but you can get the Legendary Boss Medal without getting “Warden Eternal Takedown”. Got one last night, I’m at 4/10 on Level 5, so that was really annoying to ALMOST get the credit.
This has happened to me three times as well. I was awarded a boss kill in game after each of the three Warden kills, but nothing towards the commendation. Someone pointed out the same thing to me about the medal, but that doesn’t explain me being awarded a boss kill each time and no commendation credit.
This has been happening to me for a long while now. I have been stuck on lvl 5/5 of the warden kill commendation 4 of 10 for over a month. And I really don’t think that the excuse that you are just not getting the last shot on warden is correct. I have absolutely been the final hit/shot on warden multiple time - I’ve used banshees, scorpions, wraiths, oni hogs, phaetons, and I’ve even killed him by assassination numerous times all to no avail. So I would personally like to hear an explanation from 343i themselves.
I have killed a full 50 wardens / participated or final blow and I still don’t have the last kill for the commendations SMH.
