My warden kills have been stuck on 3/5 for the last 20 wardens ive killed on firefight. Idk if its an error or a bug but if anybody know what im doing wrong inform me plz ty
You have to score the final shot on a Warden for it to count towards the commendation. It takes a lot of time and can be frustrating.
Keep at it though, try to use a tank or spartan laser when the life bar is low so you can have a higher chance of striking the final blow.
I remember when I started, it seemed like as long as I got credit for it, it would count towards the commendation.
ALSO, DO NOT ASSASSINATE THE WARDEN, IT NORMALLY DOES NOT COUNT THIS AS A FINAL ATTACK (in my experience, it sometimes doesn’t even give you credit for it).
I was stuck on my last one forever. I got about 15 kill medals but none counted toward the commendation. My final one was on a Hail Mary grenade toss that got the kill. Appropriately random.
Warden kills are tricky. As the others said, you have to get the killing blow on Warden for the commendation to count; or you can ruin everybody else commendation chance and assassinate him if his HP level is low enough(it’s possible, but tricky to do, I know from experience).
I got the commendation & after i just received a req pack poorest than bronze… unfair. Thug life
One thing 343 really got wrong was giving the medal to everyone rather than just the player that got the actual kill… They should have made a boss assist medal so players wouldn’t be confused. I mean you get solider, knight and hunter assist but no boss assist… it just doesn’t make sense…

I think all players that damages a big % of boss must got the medal ( boss kill )

Yeah it’s easy to get the medal but that doesn’t mean you got the actual kill shot. That is where the confusion comes in.
It is hard to get warden kills
