I am not getting credit for all of my kills on him, no matter how much damage i pump into him, or even if i get the last shot. I should have had the commendation already, but the game refuses to give me credit, or even an assist for warden kills. It’s very frustrating because it is the last kill commendation i need, but its impossible to get since the game refuses to give me credit for my kills. The only way to actually get the kill and guarantee credit is with an assassination, but that is so problematic with 24 players.
Getting the medal does not mean you got the last shot. The commendation only progresses when you get the last shot.
My experience has been it’s a bit more random than last shot, and not sure assassination guarantees you credit either. Stay after it, you will get it.
You have to, I repeat, you HAVE TO get the killing blow to receive credit on warden for some reason. Just like with vehicle bosses, you have to get the killing shot on the vehicle while exploding to get credit. its dumb.

I got warden twice last night in one game on Battle of Noctus by being the yoink camping across the map with a sniper rifle and then a binary rifle. I have to admit getting the kill from the side opposite Warden shooting past Monument was more satisfying than it should have been. Are you sure you can get the medal and not advance the commendation?
I’m on level 4/5 with two more to go. What weapons have people been using for getting the kill? Laser doesn’t seem to do much and it marks you for being targeted.
You haven’t reached the boss sparta n elite until you’ve assassinated Warden
Tank works best for me.
I’m on level 4, and the only advice I can give is to use a powerful weapon at the right time. I.e when he doesn’t have much health left. A tank, a spartan laser, the answer, etc etc, anything that can cause some damage. Even then, you won’t always get it. I think it’s going to take me weeks to do level 5.
The game is wonky sometimes also. I got a bulldozer and ground pounder but never showed in my commos. As a matter of fact I don’t have any ground pounds recorded.

Also when in doubt have a Scorpion tank or heavy vehicle handy and wait until the health is right down, and then land the killer shot, or a sniper rifle and pump four quick rounds into his head.

I find the Answer to my problem was the Answer. I had 14 reqs (now down to 7) and started to pull them out for the Warden, I have gotten 2 Warden kills by putting crazy high damage on him from 50% to 25% and then reloading, then use a full clip on his back and face. This has been my most reliable way of getting the kills.

The Answer has been the best for taking Warden down from what I’ve seen. Only need three more Warden kills and The Answer is my go-to.
