My Warden kill commendation has been stuck at 2/10 for the last while and it’s getting very annoying. I’ve gotten around 6 Warden kills before I finally gave up due to it not going up. Any solution to this?
Are you getting the red boss kill medal after he dies?
Odds are you are just getting the boss takedown medal and not the actual kill. It’s very annoying how they didn’t make it more obvious if you got the actual kill or just a takedown. There really should have been a boss assist medal and only those who got the kill get the actual kill medal.

Same happens to me, I’m getting the medal for it too. I think you have to deal the ACTUAL killing shot.
You have to literally get the last shot that kills him. An aerial vehicle with automatic weapons you can fire when he is close to done is the best way in my experience.
Another thing to note in addition to the above, avoid assassinating the Warden. You’d think it would be a guaranteed kill for the commendation, but doing so doesn’t even give you the medal unless you put some damage into him before within a certain amount of time.
The easiest way to tell you got the kill is the red x appearing over your crosshairs for a fraction of a second. it’s mostly luck though.

Under normal circumstances, assassinating him is about the only surefire way to know that you’ll get the kill. The problem with assassinating him, though, is that he has to go through his entire death animation before you get credit for the kill, and during that “death phase”, he’s still considered “alive” and can be killed by your teammates who are still shooting at him. So, in essence, he can be killed before he dies… Yeah.
Use the Mantis or Anti-Air Wraith. You gotta time it out so you are getting the last/fatal shot that kills it, or you won’t get the credit. It’s the same with the Grunt Mech kill commendation.

The best way to get them is a well placed and timed tank shot, especially oni or hannibal. Tanks do a lot of damage so it’s a bit bigger window to get that KILL shot right before he dies. Same with grunt mech’s… Or if you are talented take the grunt mech’s canaopy down with the H2 sniper rifle alpha or Delta then head shot the grunt with a precision weapon like dmr or h2br
