In the newest trailer of Halo 5 ache side explain what they believe in and what they are going to do. While the Master Chief is explaining that great threats require great sacrifice the Worden Eternal appears on his helmet. This could be that maybe this character is actually a bad guy that Chief is going to face and at the same time has to deal with Locke.

Doesnt mean he’s a bad guy, but they’re certainly shooting him. Could be a test, or any number of things.

But if you listen to the Hunt the Truth episodes, it sounds as though whatever is happening, the Master Chief caused it. So why wouldn’t he be in control and be allies with the Warden Eternal? Why would that thing be fighting him?

Well with the achievement suggesting we fight several wardens, it’s clear that individual wardens may be allies and vice versa.
