Hey all, just looking for a touch of advice.
What are the best weapons to use on the Warden in Warzone? I don’t have anything fancy, so something like “Saw used in conjunction with plasma pistol” would be awesome, but I could always strive to get new weapons.
The Warden is proving to be the last challenging enemy commendation. Grunts, Jackals, Hunters and Crawlers are all falling into place, this guy is just a pain.
Any help is appreciated!
Rocket launchers do tons of damage to the warden.
The Answer works great at close to mid range. If you are able to shoot him with it when his health is low it is very likely you’ll get him. Binary Rifle when shot in the weak point in his back works great too. I was able to take out the Warden from across the map with a Binary from the South Garage on the Battle of Noctus. (The first Warden spawn is between the Monument and North Garage)

I got stuck in a game the other day where my team refused to push up, I couldn’t push alone, so I walked off and farmed bosses because farming Spartans is just irritating for everyone involved. Anyway, I managed to get a Spnkr Em? (The one with four rockets in a tube), fired four into his back, did next to no damage. Maybe a twentieth of his health.
Park an Oni warthog off in the distance and jusy chain gun him to death

Hydras usually work for me, especially if I get in a position when I can hit his weak spot.
Wait till he is down to tier 4, then you can assassinate him or unload any heavy weapon on him. I like to pull out a banshee and wait till his health is down low then, I come out of nowhere and bombard him. Works 3/4 of the time for me.
I suggest the run of the mill Fuel Rod for all your Promethean disposal needs…

SMG (Mostly for kill stealing)

If you want to do lots of damage, any of the above suggestions will help. If you want to increase the chances of you and your team getting the kill, at the end of his life I’d use any automatic weapon. With all the bullets hitting him at the end, the only one that matters for points is that last one. Having a constant flow of bullets from a SAW, AR, or SMG will increase your chances. Just time your reloads right and you might get it.
