This is for tips and tricks to killing Warden Eternal. One thing that might help: You can assassinate him when he’s around 1/10 max health.
It’s actually only 1%. When the game released it was 10%, but 343 changed it 
A tip from me would be always try to attack from behind, but keep your distance. Also use power weapons on enemies, and the AI guarding the Warden as they can be very annoying. Vehicles such as tanks help a lot, too.

Try it in Warzone Firefight, I’ve used melee weapons and got the assassination started at around 25% health, but only ever got it at around 10% with normal loadout weapons. It would be impossible (in warzone) to do it at 1% because then, right as the assassination starts, an enemy or friend would kill it with anything, shooting armor or not. I’m not sure about campaign.

mantis and tanks are you friend when it comes to warden. rockets and the answer are good against him too. if you get him early on, I use charged caster shots against him and it helps a little too.

Tanks are really helpful and the easiest to get and keep on the field. Rocket warthogs are great too, but you don’t see them as much and they are easier to destroy.
Unfortunately the campaign versions are different than the firefight versions. But as the first player to do the triple warden fight on legendary without safe spots or dying, I’ll give my tips for the campaign version:
It’s quite simple actually. You need to get him to display his injured animation. The one where he reels back in pain (if he even feels pain I guess). You guys should know the animation. He does it 3 or 4 times before dying.
You get him to do this by shooting a fully charged incineration cannon shot at him. Even on legendary it’ll be enough damage to get him to do that. Lacking a cannon, rail guns, binary rifles, and splinter grenades (to a moderate degree) work well.
When he does this you need to run around him and put scattershot rounds in his weak spot. If you do it right you can get him to keep going into that animation where he’ll eventually die.
Using your fire team as fodder is definitely acceptable, lol.
Also, be wary when he’s going into the animation if he’s next to an incline or decline. For whatever reason that may cancel out his injured sequence and he’ll just go back to killing you.
As for firefight it’s probably even easier… spawn a scorpion tank with the Wheelman perk and don’t get close enough to provoke him into a melee attack. Even if he’s constantly blasting you with EMP, your Wheelman armor mod will free you of the stun in time to get a shell off on him so it’s basically a worthless attack on his part. And it really doesn’t damage the tank too much. Hannibal scorpions eat him alive.

No problem. I just recently realized it myself.
If you can’t call in a tank, an SMG to his back does more damage than one might think. Also, assassinating him is easier in Firefight, or at least it feels that way.

Agreed. I tried it the first time I saw him in campaign and it didn’t work so I never tried to again in campaign. My brother accidentally did it in Warzone, and by the time I started doing it, I was well done with the campaign. It takes a few tries but once you get used to it, assassinating him is pretty easy, getting a team that can get his health low enough ends up being the hard part.
My answer is using The Answer, melts any boss if you can stay alive
Use a Splinter Turret on him, a normal warden in Firefight can be taken down in under 20 seconds if you use it right.
EVERYONE SHOOT HIM WITH EVERYTHING!
