I have noticed that my warden kill commendation is not advancing. it has been on multiple occasions. the most recent was the last warzone game i have played and it has been happening for over a month but i thought that it would fix itself but it hasnt. is there anyway to fix this. i dont care if i never get those ones back but just for future warden kills to count 
The number of participation medals increased in the last update. So the medal only means you participated in the kill. In order for it to count as a comm you need to be alive and doing plenty of damage when he expires. I used the smg to get most of mine. Smg’d Warden

Yea i understand that but i do get the medal and it still does not work for me which is what i do not really inderstand, i am alive and put a nice amount of damage into him then get the warden kill medal but it still wouldnt work
You have to get the killing blow to receive credit. I use a Whiplash or Arclight and just wait, I got two Warden kills in a single Warzone Turbo game.

No you don’t understand. Because you get the medal it does not mean you advance the commendation. As per my post above…

That is correct. To be sure that you are the one that’s killed him, look for the small red ‘X’ in the reticule when he dies. If you don’t get that, someone else has nabbed the actual kill. You may still get the medal, but not the final blow that advances your commendation progress. Annoying, yes, but a matter of timing. I was glad to get that commendation out the way.
That red “X” and objective complete sound are awesome. I still have 12 kills to go.
