I’ve decided to finally tackle halo 5 legendary and i’ve got to the first warden encounter. It is the probably the most unfair bulls*** i’ve encountered on halo and i’ve completed all LASO campaigns solo in the MCC. Where’s the skill element? everything is a one shot, constant enemy spawns, AI constantly dying, me constantly dying. It’s so cheap, it looks like one of those times where i have to keep doing it until the RNG and the planets allign

You cannot rely on your AI companions whatsoever, which on legendary, I think is fine. But it just feels awful when you die, then they all file in and you watch them all die one at a time trying to revive you 
There’s a trick you can use to get behind him as soon as he spawns and kill him with a scattershot in 20-30 sec or less
There are also a few tricks you can find on youtube to make things easier. They make the experience feel even more broken, but if youre just trying to “be done with it” …might be worth looking into.
No he’s actually pretty easy.
Just aim for that bright yellow-orange sun spot on his back and you’ll be fine, dumb dumb AIs or not.
Just wait until you face 3 of them on Legendary! I beat Legendary solo but damn I got extremely lucky in beating the last of the 3 final Wardens. When you get to that level, spam the crap out of them with the Incineration Cannon and Binary Rifle the second they spawn. There’s a couple seconds where they’re still in scripted animations but can take damage. Blue team will die, but you need to focus on doing damage to the Wardens and running for dear life when they start chasing you.
Watch tutorials also screw trying to fight the 3 towards the end of the game just skip that

Not being salty, just curious.
Another easy tactic is run up the side ramp jump to the middle floating platform grab the incineration cannon go back on the ramp they have cover (but don’t push against it hes got an aoe move that can hit though it when it hits it) and then have your ais go to the other side of the map so he agros them and is looking away from you, then just charge shoot, charge shoot, and if you got a nornfang or a sniper too that helps just hitting him with it even without getting his back
I will admit that was one of the most difficult parts of the game, but I finally figured out not to even mess with the other enemies and just rush the crap out of the warden. Seriously, immediately run up top and grab that incineration cannon. My tactic was similar to this one. Watch how quickly he gets it done. This is the best way I have found. It’ll take quite a few tries, but you’ll get it eventually.

I completed it on legendary solo. Remember the three wardens was kind of difficult but I was able to kill them after about the fifth try.

I think Halo Reach gets that title, followed by Halo 3.
Halo Reach gives you invincible AI partners half the time, and then if you find the Drop Shield Armor Ability, the game is pretty much played for you.
Halo 3, literally everything dies to a headshot. Brutes are easier Elites without regenerating shields, the Flood can get headshotted immediately and the new “Tank Form” can get one shotted by the Sword
i did the legendary campaign and it was easy. the only warden fight that was hard was the one in the mining station
i died likd 50 times when u fight 3 but i always thought difficulty wise it goes… from easiest to hardest on solo… 1. halo 4, 2. halo reach, 3. halo 5, 4. halo 3, 5. odst, 6. wars (ARCADIA!!!), 7. halo ce, 8. halo 2

Kind of the point of “Legendary” isn’t it? Halo 5 was BY FAR the easiest halo on legendary, (except for maybe CE just due to all the speedrunning tricks you can do) and I personally was quite pleased to have something that was actually difficult to get done.
