Could the Warden Eternal be the same Warden that guarded Faber in Halo Cryptum? Just curious as to what everybody thinks.
Maybe…interesting theory…
Doesn’t seem like it. The Warden was an ancient Monitor assigned to the Forerunnet capital for trials whereas Warden Eternal seems to be a Promethean construct who is unrelated. I mean, I’m not sure what the overlap between what amounts to a defendant lawyer and Keeper of the Domain entails. I think they only share Warden in their name and nothing else.

I don’t know. The book says, “This was the Warden, both prison-keeper and guardian of mercy…” while I understand that part of the Warden’s job was to be a defense lawyer of sorts, that quote seems to mean that this particular monitor has a lot more power than just proving someone is not guilty. Anyway, for me, its just fun to think about.

No doubt, but the Warden kinda drops off after Cryptum. I don’t know, I don’t think the connection is there, but it’s a fun thought.
