For the Past several months The Empire of the Onyx Shield has been receiving a flood of messages from members of Epsilon Fleet (whom will be unnamed for security reasons). They want to leave the clan but their leaders will not allow them. The member claim that their leadership is absent to the needs of the clan and basically brainwashes all of their members into believing that their leaders are the good guys. Good guys don’t need to control the hearts and minds, they earn it. When we appealed to them [Epsilon Leaders] they ignored us and tried to send in spies… tried. As a result The House of Judgement has voted to commit to a act of open conflict. The Premier of the Onyx Shield gave this speech after the vote:
“My fellow comrades and citizen, we have always tried to help the oppressed and the weak. We fought for what was right. After a unanimous vote during the House of Judgement session, we members of The Empire of the Onyx Shield, are at war with the oppressive brutes known as Epsilon Fleet. This will be quick and crushing victory for I have no doubt that our U.I.C. allies will aid us as well as the good people of the community. No go forward and show them what it means to be free and just.”
The biggest trick that Epsilon Fleet does is they do not fight and then claim victory, the only way for this war to end is if all parties agree to sign a treaty to end the war. I truly do believe this is insane, to go around creating false accusations and chastising a clan you never met. I’ve been in the clan for half a year now, and while I do agree there had been minor leadership errors I’ve always enjoyed my time here. For that, I am against all these ridiculous claims that have no supported evidence whatsoever. So please if you would like to settle this in a friendly and positive matter contact us by all means. We wish to deal with this nonsense as soon as possible, as it really deters our recruiting efforts to get more players engaged.

Your story touches my heart, its amazing how there was a leader that was in-charge which gave you a bad experience when you sent an application on the 15th of August, 2015 (when Darth Baum is Fleet Admiral) but some how the leader (who clearly wasn’t Darth Baum but was) is no longer around so Darth Baum (who wasn’t the leader at the time but was most definitely was the leader) can call you back to help the people with the wit to leave. We are not as preposterous as many may say.
Echov419 type of response was expect (not exactly from him). Shock if the first reaction normally followed by anger or joy of going to the Armageddon. [Directed a Echove419] we have come in contact with your fleet, contact was established. When your leadership failed to respond in continuous contact we started talking to your lower ranks. We got what we didn’t expect to find…

I can easily deny almost everything you said. About around two weeks after I joined Epsilon Fleet I started slacking off, I barely ever joined practices. But then last weekend when our new marine leader talked with me (which he didn’t know that I slacked off) he basically said that I have a high chance of becoming a squad leader (and at that time I was a squad assistant and still am) so I knew it was basically time to work, and besides, if I was a squad leader it would help me increase my leadership skill in real life. they aren’t bad people, if I wanted to leave I could and they would let me. Also my superiors did contact you and your clan did not respond, I was in the same party as my superiors when they tried to contact you and your clan. I already can say we don’t want war, none of Epsilond Fleet wants war. Please reconsider your declaration of war.

My name is Akira Silver (my fellow members know me as the “Knight of Nineteen”) and I have been in Epsilon Fleet for a little under a month. During my time here I have witnessed many amazing things. I have met people who genuinely care about each other and the well-being of the clan, worked with fantastic people who play with honour and go into battle with a heart full of compassion for their fellow warfighters, bested some of my worst enemies with the help of the leadership team of Epsilon Fleet, and even improved my own gameplay skills.
I have even been granted the great honour of creating Paladin Battalion (Which I am the leader of), which has proven to be a highly successful group of people who have, to this date, fought in over fifty battles and won all but two.
I fail to understand how you can openly post this and not even have a second thought when all of these members (each of which being a different rank and having different tasks, might I add!) come to you and show you that they are genuinely happy there. To think that anyone can stop you from leaving a clan is somewhat preposterous. I mean, what do you think they do? Slap us around through our televisions or something? Nobody can force someone to stay in a clan.
This message was not intended to be rude or aggressive in any way, shape, or form so please do not take it as such. I am merely stating the facts in an attempt to address the members of both your and my people in such a way that they will see the truth.
To summarise; I have known Darth for just about a month and he has shown nothing but support and given me not grief whatsoever. In fact, what he actually did was quite the contrary, he has given me nothing but kind words and infused the members of his clan with courage and the will to succeed. No members have been harmed, or forced to do anything during the past month at least.
No aggression was meant during the conception of this message.

Thank you for your support members of the Fleet. This is truly what I have been saying since the Fleet’s inception that it is the culmination of our efforts and strengths that makes the Fleet not my will nor any individuals. The Fleet would be nothing without you guys. That being said I am touched.

To first explain what Ominous meant is that the leadership in the Fleet is not a tyranny lead by just myself. The opposite infact holds true where we have a functioning chain of command and there was some troubles in the lower levels of the chain of command that have been addressed. Of course I was the one who appointed the previous leadership to those positions so I cannot say I am perfect. To quote Alexander Hamilton we cannot expect perfect work from imperfect man. It is despite my imperfections and augmented with the abilities and talents of everyone in the Fleet that we have managed to climb so high.
To answer your second point I honestly have no idea what your grievances are against me except what you posted here on this forum. There has been none… I repeat no attempts of communication with me on Xbox Live whatsoever. I am willing to look through my entire inbox (which I did) and I find no one named Onyx Ubermensch (or anything Onyx for that matter). If you did send me correspondence I did not receive it. The only reason I even noticed this thread was a fluke I just saw a topic named ‘War’ and I was like “this could be interesting to read” Only to find this thread… which has perplexed me immensely since I know nothing about an Onyx Shield group. In short the best’ way to resolve this would be simply to talk to me on Xbox Live. I have plenty of time to talk with you. Perhaps we can fix this misunderstanding.

I love how you say this and its not even true. If anything, we ask why and see if we can keep them from leaving because we believe they could have the potential to do something great in our community. So please get your facts correct and, stop spreading rumors and lies.

Here is a two part answer,
First, what do you mean “absent”. There is a reason for lower leadership to be in place so, we don’t have to be online on the time. Doing every single little thing.
Second, the only time we did not fight was with UFF. They tried to force there rules on us for battle which would not allow an equal fight opportunity. He backed out of his offensive (retreated due to not messaging us back) and we took it as a victory.
Thanks for sharing your concern about the fleet though. We will take it into consideration and quickly fix the problem.

Sigh we have tried to contact you here on this thread. I also sent you a message over Xbox Live… You have not contacted me on Xbox Live.
