War zone Turbo has become "Power Weapon Camp-Fest"

I have been playing Warzone Turbo quite a bit since it started and have seen a sad evolution emerge.

At the start of the new game type, everyone seemed to want to try out all sorts of new weapons and vehicles they rarely could use in regular Warzone. It was interesting to see all these weapons being used in battle and made for some great games.

Now, however, most people do the following:

  1. hit the first objective to reach Level 9 Reqs
  2. find a base or specific part of the map to camp in with a power weapon like the Norfang, Splaser, Twin Jewels of Maethrillian, Retina of the Mind’s Eye, etc.
  3. proceed to wait for enemies to pass within range and take them out-especially vehicles

Now, we have games where IF you spawn a vehicle, you get hit within 30 seconds from 3 or 4 long range weapons and die as quick. If you try to go after a base or go out in the middle of the map between bases, you are picked off by a person with a power precision weapon. So what do people do—they stay back and camp.

Now Warzone Turbo has become Warzone Terrible—a camper’s playground.

I enjoy the mayhem and have found that games seem to be running about the same amount of time as standard Warzone.

Well what do you expect.

You say this as tho you are suprised, what were you expecting exactly?

weapon drops in H4 were terrible
super fiesta takes the idea of weapon drops and multiplies it to silly x infinity

You must be playing a different warzone turbo than me

People want to spawn their fun REQs and use them too? INCONCEIVABLE

Someone who considers twin jewels a power weapon unfortunately doesn’t know what one is…

I don’t think you know what that word means.

the last time someone used a nornfang in one of my matches was when I killed him using speed boosts ^^

What did you honestly expect?

I use only the standart weapons to steal me other things ^^

I love the mayhem!! It also gives the not so gifted players like myself a chance to use reqs I would normally never get to use.

I have 2 Commendations left to get and i’m done, they’re both snipers. How exactly do you want me to use my snipers? Should I no scope the whole game?

I don’t enjoy Warzone Turbo, I don’t like to use single use reqs lol, am I the only one?

I think it’s far better than being spawn trapped in your based at req level 3, while the opposing team has banshees & scorpions roaming about.

I enjoy warzone turbo however I do not use single use reqs hardly ever, especially any of the more rare ones. I find it quite enjoyable to have advanced sensors and bayonet weapon and just take everyone out that way. Basically, my load out weapons give me other people’s fancy weapons.

I also use WZT to manage some of the single use reqs I don’t sell. 40 Fuel rod cannons? 35 Hydra launchers? 37 Scorpions? WZT helps take care of that. Plus I feel I get better use of my single burn cards than just selling them. I only sell my commons & uncommons minus the sniper rifle. I don’t sell rares, ultra rares or Legendary/Mythics.

Twin Jewels of Maethrillian? No way somebody is calling that piece of crap into a game. lol

It has gotten more campy as the days have gone by. People are running low on weapons so they’re being more cautious. I personally used 120 active camo this past weekend playing it, not to mention the power weapons I went through. It’s to be expected.

Never really had an experience like this in Turbo. Maybe just bad luck?

Someone who does not consider a power weapon doesn’t know how to use it properly. Two shot take out of scorpion, banshee, mantis, Hunter.

Total crap for spartans, but then it’s designed to take out vehicles…
