Title says it all. If it’s not off I see a lot of team killing happening for legendary req’s.
Friendly fire is confirmed to be off in Warzone; everyone’s seen the whole ‘kill for sniper’ thing, so they cut off the possibility in Warzone. Can still do it in ranked tho, no worries!

I feel the same way its dumb to kill a teammate for a gun they got to first what if they use it better than you that means cost the team some kills.
I typically prefer friendly fire on. If it’s off to prevent legendary req stealing, I can see that.
With the technology available, there has to be a better way of handling this than simply turning it off.
Good, I don’t want to spend money on REQ packs, just for someone to team kill me for my weapon.

I never understood why people would just betray you for a weapon, just wait for it to respawn or when the person dies with it. Probably the most frustrating thing with halo where teammates who would betray.

Is it annoying? Yes. However, it almost never happens when ranking systems do their jobs. Even back in the day playing Team training/Social Slayer (H2/H3 - unranked), it was never that big of a deal. Yes, it’s always happened…occasionally. You don’t have to deal with it in Warzone, you have the ability to block players, and you have the ability to report players if you feel like they’re worth the time to file a complaint.
Back when there was no such thing as Xbox Live Rep or no friendly fire in a Halo match, these things weren’t an issue…and I can tell you from experience, having listened to the people holding the controllers on the other end speak (yell/scream/threaten)…this is not an issue. It happens…occasionally. If 343 would keep the 1-50 rank system in place, and add on their new H5 “team rank” system, you wouldn’t have much to worry about.
So remember, if every Arena match is a Social Slayer atmosphere and nobody cares about betraying you and you’re paired with players way above your skill-level…they’re being jerks, but 343 could’ve avoided it all by not removing the ranking system that has always worked.

Yeah it is. I’m glad it is, team killing in itself is just downright annoying.
I feel if team mates are killing each other for weapons, the solution would be to make each weapon de spawn instantly if the player was killed by friendly fire.
In Arena it’s on, Warzone it’s off.
The amount of teamkilling for legendary REQ’s would be through the roof!
Team killing has to be removed, I saw my friend get team killed for no reason so I killed his -Yoink-. If its not that people just kill your entire team to be a troll. I started a game and all I see is our teammate firing at my follow teammates at first thinking we are getting shot from behind til he shoots me. If its not that they rage over a kill that was yours to begin with and kill you. This nonsense has to stop.
