So the shop features entirely new items, except of course for the ever present Booster and Swaps bundle.
Oh and the War Master bundle that was featured about a month ago.
Its nice to have the pack more than once in a season, but why not have it later on?
Why couldn’t we instead get, oh I dunno -
- CQC Bundle that was supposed to release in Season 1 but never did?
- JFO Bundle that was supposed to release in Season 1 but never did?
- One of the leaked Rakshasa bundles?
- Perhaps the rest of the Firefall Bundle for the Mark VII?
Am I against a season repeating content?
No, but at least make it start recycling content after we enter Month 3 of a 6-Month long season.

Yeah with such a limited sized timed store, having an item we already saw just a couple weeks ago is pretty lame, just extra padding to this game’s slow content drip.
Hardly even a drip at this point.

They no longer have a daily item rotation either, so that probably means those items are GONE FOREVER, or that they are now going to enter the Weekly Ultimate Challenge rewards rotations.
Unless this shop gets a proper rework to be more like Rainbow Six Siege’s cosmetic shop; fans are going to remain frustrated and aggravated with the cosmetic acquisition of Halo Infinite.

Unyshek did respond to someone earlier today on reddit about the shop when questioned about the lack of dailies:
Hey Baron - thanks for the tag! Shop updates have been focused on weekly rotations simply because of the length of the Season. As much as possible, we’d like to offer something new in the Shop each week. With a long Season like this, that meant slowing the rotation down some to help with that. I wish it could be a more exciting reason, but that’s the reality of it. Hope this helps clarify!
For what it’s worth, I did ask about the CQC and JFO helmets in a follow-up reply and unfortunately did not get a response (he was however starting to get flooded with comments from other users).

I’m not arguing for FOMO
I am arguing the fact that we KNOW that there is new content that WAS supposed to be given to us last season.
But we didn’t get it and we aren’t even half-way through the current season, but we are already having recycling items for the season.
Their excuse for taking away Daily Bundles was to ensure that there was less recycling for the Season, but they did NOT bother to release JFO or CQC, instead they decided that the major Armor Bundle of this week as going to be something that was available just a few weeks back.

It’s clear at this point they don’t actually know what they’re doing.
That has been clear since Halo 4 IMO
What has been made clear as of now is that 343 doesn’t know how to manage their studio.

No, no, then there was at least a vision and things happened on time. Even if they sucked.
Now it just… Kind of looks like really awful bumbling.

Halo 4 was a case of “doing too much”.
- Sudden shift in art and soundtrack
- Two campaigns in one immediate package, resulting in Halo 4 being the most stunted campaign in the series. (seriously, half the mission roster feels like two or three missions were fuzed into one)
- Multiplayer loadouts suddenly in the game
They had a vision.
Though it clearly needed glasses designed for someone with astigmatism.
Or at least another year of development.
You see, that is a driving problem with Halo 4 was well.
Unlike most Halo titles, it was developed in 2 years rather than 3.
And it was also done while redesigning everything from the ground up. Every asset was changed.
Too much done with so little time to get it taken care of.
The chest, shoulders and leg attachment are in the season 2 battle pass. The armor coating and stance will be weekly rewards in August and October. The only thing we don’t yet have a clue about is the helmet attachment and visor. If the bundle had a visor at all.
That is what I am waiting for.
If Firefall releases in the Shop, the bundle should NOT raise in price and we SHOULD get the pieces missing.
That, or we should bet a CBRN bundle that adds the CBRN Rebreathers we have been missing to the following helmets -
The Firefall bundle will never be in the shop, because it is completely cut up and divided over the S2 battle pass, weekly rewards and that stupid “helmet only bundle”.
That’s 343’s biggest mistake here. The Helmet bundle should’ve contained the firefall rebreathers. Just like the Sky Marshall helmet bundle also had a helmet attachment and a coating.
Anyway, the only thing 343 can do to fix it is to make the rebreathers a free unlock for anyone who bought the Firefall helmet. OR sell the Firefall helmet again and in the same week also sell the rebreathers for max 100 credits.
The Cavalino rebreathers should be given to everybody for free. It is the starting helmet after all.
But I still think helmet attachments should work on all helmets, as long as the helmet allows no clipping. I would love to put the Anubis headphones on other helmets.

I honestly cannot wait until they rework the shop to copy from Rainbow Six Siege rather than Fortnite.
Because seriously, the R6S shop is 10,000 LEAGUES better than what we have going on right now.

We received the utility pocket and the chest armor this season.
We did not receive the CBRN rebreather
We also have yet to receive ALL OF THIS STUFF THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN SHOP ROTATIONS LAST SEASON
