Please don’t tell me that because of the fact that I purchased the war games map pass, I won’t be able to download the Castle map pack right away. The maps have been released… I should have already been offered the free download. Why can’t I play these maps yet? I bought the map pass. I had no idea that I would be at a disadvantage for doing so. WTF?
I’m playing on them right now and I own the map pass. Try restarting your console?
haha yeah dude i tried restarting the console. I bought the map pass. I’m not going to buy the castle map pack for another 800 points. I am not prompted for the free download once I boot up halo 4. It actually says that there are no items available for download. Then the marketplace list comes up with the Castle map pack nowhere to be found. I can get the Halo 4 outcast map theme though. This is BS. 343 has failed to deliver every single map pack included in the map pass on time… Im probably just going to go to sleep, and hope that my -Yoinking!- map pack is ready for tomorrow. Effin DLC nightmare.
I tried to download them before work with my Map Pass and was not able to. The marketplace said error no new content available. I am sure it will be fixed when I get home from work.

Even though I got the WGMP when i got the LE, i still bought the maps, just in case.

Some of us were looking forward to playing the new maps. Personally speaking, this is a very busy time for me as the end of my college semester nears, so I planned to dedicate SOME time to playing the maps before my class, but this whole fiasco ruined it.

Me included. I woke up earlier than usual to see if I can download and run a couple matches before work. Since I have the error and I start work in a couple mins, I wont be able to play till tomorrow/wednesday @ earliest
If this was a problem with the Crimson map pack, shouldn’t it have been fixed? Come on 343, we’re the customers that cared enough to buy these maps in advance. Fix it.
Yo WTF!!! Can 343 at least address these issues? My map pack is going on 6 hours late. Pathetic considering I probably purchased it before half of the people playing them in MM right now.
I tried to reach both Halo waypoint and bravo on twitter and neither can respond. I sent them this forum showing that is more than just me. hopefully it might speed this up… 343 you wonder why halo 4 numbers have gone down…

Had to wait three days but finally got the maps with the WGMP, THANK YOU 343i and MICROSOFT! You guys finally fixed it.
I love halo 4, I love what you guys have done with the game. But please dude, don’t make me have to go through this again with another map pack. With all the other bugs/glitches/server issues that you guys have probably fixed before they became a problem for me, this mite seem like a little problem. But dude, these are your customers who cared enough about your product to buy the most expensive version or cared enough to buy the WGMP, either way these customers should be some sort of priority, man. We’re pissed because we care (at least that’s my reason) so please dude, don’t let this happen again.
same thing happened here, i ended up just spending another 800 MS points for it because i dont have the patience to wait a week or 3 months before they finally figure out what is wrong.
I waited until the issue was resolved and downloaded my DLC for free with my Map Pass.
What usually helps in situations like this is redownloading the map pass (I think it was called sth like “Infinity Commando Kit” or so).
In 90-95 percent it helps the people, but I still can´t figure why they messed it up 2 out of 3 times…
So, I have the war games pass, got my 2 other map packs, Crimson, and Majestic. But its now June 12th and I still cannot download the Castle Map Pack without buying it again. I’ve given 343i 2 MONTHS to fix this issue I’m having. Its still not fixed. What the -Yoink-.
