If I buy this for 2000 MSPoints will I get the 3 map pack for free AND the rest of does specialations?

Nope. That was game-day only I think.

But, I could’ve sworn it was only bundled with the LE map pass.

it does not. I just had microsoft refund my 2000 MSpts as I see it as a wasted investment in 343i. But I bought the pass at Launch, been capped 10 days now. so unfortunately not , sorry

At first I thought cool, I’ll get two helmets, and it includes ALL map packs. But now I see the Helmets are lame. I hate the strider and the eva helmet. Everybody uses them with a red visor and it looks like a giant pimple is coming after me. And then the scanner helmet makes me feel like im watching stepbrothers( night vision goggles!). Plus, having a map pack come out a month after release? that’s wayy too quick. I feel like they didn’t model the success of Halo 3 to this game at all. Halo 3 sat at full price for almost what, 3 years? this game is sadly aiming for 6 months, if that.

The 2000MSP mappass gets you the first three mappacks and two helmets.

You will get all the next three map packs for no additional charge, correct. You will not get early access to the six additional specializations by purchasing the Map Pass.

If you buy the War Games Map Pass, all you will receive is two helmets (Strider and Scanner), an Emblem (Falcon) and access to the following Map Packs:

Crimson Map Pack (December)
Castle Map Pack(February)
Majestic Map Pack (April)

Basically, you “pre paid” for the map packs when you buy the pass. You don’t have to buy additional points to buy them individually, which saves you some money by going with the pass.

You will NOT however, get any Specializations early. That’s a LE edition thing.
