I have played some Regicides and find that this is going to be extremely hard. Anyone have any tips? Every time I kill the king I become the king and end up winning. So I died on purpose and let others be the king, still doesn’t work.
I do not play much myself but from what I have heard it is near impossible without boosting. The daily challenge to get 10 a while back was difficult, let alone 18.

Mathematically, it is possible. You just need 5 other friends and a whole bunch of boosting.
First off, you get a minimum of 15 points for killing a king in Regicide. 18 x 15 is 270. IE 30 points away from winning and ending the game. However, most of the time you get more than 15 for killing the king. If each time during the king’s reign he kills just one person before you kill him, the number becomes 360, and thus impossible. You either have to have a group of 5 friends boost, each taking turns killing the king, or you have to kill just the king every time as soon as he becomes king.
If the king ever gets to max bonus, then you are better off not killing the king because you would then have a minimum point total of 290 in order to complete the challenge. And don’t get any assists or other kills either, because those add up fast.
Basically and realistically, this challenge is only possible if we do the one thing 343 doesn’t want us to do: gather a bunch of friends and boost. But in the real world and playing by the rules, the challenge is virtually impossible because not only do you have to kill each king immediately, but you yourself cannot become king.
It’s a terrible challenge on 343’s part because you actually have to let other people kill you in order it get it.
You also cannot kill anyone other than the king and you can’t kill him when he’s worth more than 15 points.
Basically, by the time you get this challenge, you’ll have caused yourself to have lost dozens and dozens of games.

Thanks for the thought out post, won’t be boosting but I will end up getting the other weekly only then.
It’s hard to get if you’re always the King 
I had to stop killing everything I see and only maintain my sights on the King just to work on the other Regicide challenge.

Say this after trying to get the Plasma pistol Commendation.
I really hope they either change this challenge or reduce the requirements.
I got it, and I only got 10 regicides. I think it’s glitched.
this is not a glitch challnged i think i ofund out how to complete it get 18 regicides All up not just YOU But everyone the eniter match has to have 18+ all up

That said, the SpOps challenge is also impossible, as “Core” isn’t in the new episode…it’s in last weeks…
They already mentioned this. It’s a typo, and supposed to be 8 regicides in a match, not 18.

I don’t think it’s glitched you need 18 which you only got half of it.

Spec Ops challenge is not impossible, I did it. They released a new challegne this week, it doesn’t mean it has to be attached to the new episode.

I noticed that as well. I’m thinking that they just accidentally typed Core but really meant the last mission on the 2nd episode. I can’t remember the name.
