War Game Pass binds to Account or XBox?

I bought a new XBox and I can’t download the old map pack. I did enter the War Game Pass into my account a few months ago though…

What’s up with that? Anybody having the same issue? I want to be ready when the new map pack comes out on Monday…

You have to redownload the war games pass to your new xbox. You can only have it activated on one xbox at a time

Is there a way to retrieve that number?

I surely didn’t keep that paper.

You don’t need the code :slight_smile:

Go to:

  • Account management

  • Download history

  • Find code and redownload it!

It’s attached to your account and your console. All DLC has DRM associated with the console it was purchased on. You can download it to a different console if you’re using the same account but no other account on that Xbox will be able to access it. If you are no longer using the old console I suggest transferring all your data to the new one with the transfer cable and then transfer the content licenses.

At least this is how it use to work. I assume it’s still the same.
