We all know that Halo 6 will have a beta due to 343 saying that all upcoming Halo games will have betas. I’m here to ask what you want in the beta. Do you just want Arena?
Warzone? Maybe a part of a campaign mission to give us questions while we wait? I know I want a campaign mission, but not one that gives too much.
If its beta I’d say lower taxing games, breakout, and all the things in team arena are needed in my opinion, and stuff like swat would also be nice, but none of those silly fun modes just so we don’t get server lag, stuff like fiesta, infection, grifball. Warzone I don’t know too much I feel like that would be a little too big for a beta, but testing and feedback on that in halo 6 would be nice too.
What i like to see in betas is a small taste of what we are all going to receive. Perhaps the first campaign mission would be good enough, with some arena based game modes. For halo 6 though, I definitely would like to see a better way of customization. Reach had the right path, being different is tather nice.
I want it to be similar to Halo Reach beta, best I can explain with how I want it. Halo Reach Beta was very enjoyable and I kinda felt it had a little more connection or enjoyment than the fantastic Halo Reach game.
An Alpha would be great to showcase 4v4 multiplayer, with new weapons, and map designs. That way we’d see the new graphics, and weapons.
Then release a beta with more MP content-levels, weapons and game modes, as well as a campaign level. That way we could see some of the new cutscenes and level design and flow.
maybe some teasers for MP content and player customization.
Ideally, that would be my vote.

Correct me if I’m wrong here but the halo 5 campaign plays differently from the multiplayer (2 mods on, different HUD, different difficulty scales, scripted events, dialog, commands, downs, revives, different respawn perimeters), I wouldn’t doubt that halo 6 would also have a different campaign vs multiplayer, and both has their own bugs and testing required, a beta test on what they have in campaign isn’t a stupid idea, it improves it.

Maybe if we got a Campaign mission beta for Halo 5 we could have provided some feedback on the unspeakably awful AI of the AI teammates in Campaign.
It wouldn’t even need to be an actual story mission, just something little (like the size of a single Spartan Ops mission) with no story elements just pure Campaign single-player gameplay.
I love the idea of having the 3 AI squad members always there for the “co-op within single player” feel, and it makes a lot of sense from a story point of view. But the AI of your squad in Halo 5 is just so utterly terrible 90% of the time, and I would hate for them to give up on the system entirely in Halo 6 because of Halo 5’s failure in that area.
Having some sort of small, contained single-player mission beta is something I would see as a good idea, if it would help keep things like Halo 5’s cooperative AI from falling through the cracks into the final game. So, I’d say I definitely want a small Campaign demo if they’re going to add anything significantly different to Campaign in Halo 6, or if they’re even just doing the squad mechanic again.
I know it’s taken out of the oven before it’s fully cooked but, we don’t know how early 343 has been working on Halo 6. They said around the time when Halo 5 went gold that they had already started on Halo 6. The beta could be here before we know it.

Yes! And it wasn’t like other games where the beta came out a week or two before the game’s final launch. Hell, we didn’t even know the official release date. I like to have the developers not have a time limit on getting things where they want them,
