Wanted bloom out , see what you get now.

3:26 , last kill last shot.
Totally missed shot yet registered , great hit box…

Wanted bloom , enjoy the poor who shot first gameplay.

And before you say that this video proves otherwise , the other dude was using a storm rifle which features bloom and was spamming it.

But precision weapon feature no noob-proof mechanic anymore , so it’s gonna be a spamfest and who shot first.

That is due to the aim assist mechanics of Halo and completely unrelated to bloom or lackthereof.

Also Halo has never been a who shot first game, again, regardless of bloom.

I know I just mentioned the Hitbox to show that despite the bloom is gone , the DMR still has plenty of assist , thus making it simply a less skilled incarnation of the Reach one.

Oh goodness not this nonsense again.

Only bad players like bloom. Nobody ever called Halo 2 or 3 a “who shot first” game until bad kids came along and started whining that players were calling for the removal of bloom.

Honestly, I could care less if weapons have bloom, hitscan, aimassist or any of the above. It’ll still play like Halo regardless of what ‘skill’ people think the weapons have.

+1 to this , never has been who got the 1st shot. Theres been countless times were ppl get the fist 1-3 shots on me and i still out gun them and , im sure many have had that before also or vice versa. Also i just viewed the video several times and and from my view the the DMR is aimed at the the head/chest @3:27 in the vid. So not sure why your saying he missed. Were hes aiming its still registed as a head shot

Halo was never about who shot first. If anything, bloom made it even more of a “who saw who” situation, since players couldn’t catch up to their opponent. The slow rate of fire or randomness made battles when you were down shots tough to come back to.

Bloom is bad. Fact.

That montage is pretty good…

when it’s muted. lol

Anyone who denies this is either misinformed or incredibly ignorant.

I noticed some other concerning things in that video. The oddball throwing to force the enemy to autograb looks like it will be exploited like crazy.

In the Machinima stream earlier, the guy was talking about that when he was in an Oddball 1v1.

Bloom handicapped skilled players just as much.

More likely they’re just bad. Lots of bad players are genuinely (and wrongly) convinced bloom was an awesome thing.

Bloom is still ever present on the DMR, clearly shown in the video. Don’t get what the problem is here except that bloom is still in the game…

Of course not. It’s all about who has host.

Sure… someone must have died too much on Halo 3.

If I match all the Colombians in Halo 4 that I do in Reach, it will surely be all about host.

It’s all about host. It’s a fact.

At least without bloom I can only blame myself for missing shots. Bloom was a failed experiment. I’m disappointed that there is any at all in Halo 4 but from the sounds of it, it doesn’t really affect gameplay.

Honestly I never noticed any real differance between bloom or no bloom!

Maybe I’m just to awesome for it to register!
