Watch this video from beginning to end. Don’t skip. Now this video is 20 minutes long, so if you don’t have the time or patience for it, then don’t watch it. Watching it however made me grow a deeper respect for this game, as if it wasn’t deep enough already. Totally worth looking at.

I love Halo. no matter how poor a certain product is, it always ends up still being the best shooter for it’s time period!

What point are you trying to make with this video?
I’m fully aware of each game, along with the various betas for the first game.
What was the point of that? It didnt help me gain an appreciation for halo 4 in fact it made realize exactly what 343 destroyed in making halo 4.
That gave me an added appreciation of Halo 4 in terms of how the campaign, in terms of graphics, design etc, has progressed over time.
On the other hand, it does nothing to give any added or decreased appreciation of Halo 4 or Halo MM over time.

Which is admirable. It really is. But when your latest installment is more or less a mirror image of every other FPS out there it ceases to be as admirable.

Just because its class based doesn’t mean it’s a mirror image. When halo was aren based that was the main type of shooter but nobody here wants to admit it. I don’t care either way because as long as its a new experience for the franchise, than that’s good enough for me.

Is it hard to believe people thought reach was a good game? Me I had a few problems with it but overall it was rather enjoyable.
Then 343 took the things I hated in reach made them worse and added other features I hate.

Halo CE was an arena shooter in a market dominated by arena shooters (though there were some class based shooters around as well). There you go.
Halo 4 though is a loadout shooter as opposed to a pure class based game like TeamFortress or Battlefield.

Reach was a more pure class-based shooter that could be edited and adjusted for an arena experience.

This is why I like you. More rational than most on here, but lets not forget, halo 4 can do the same thing. Example: team throwdown.

That’s hard to believe considering, 343 fixed armor abilities for the most part, fixed movement speeds, maps and sprint. Bloom is gone and kill times are almost as fast as halo 2s. They pretty much cleaned up bungies mess, but still need to adjust their own problems. The only thing that is stupid really in this game is perks. They do so little to the game that they could be scrapped over night and I wouldn’t know. Something much cooler could have taken their place.
