Based on what I’ve seen of campaign “legendary” gameplay simply play Halo 2 on normal and you’ll be prepped for Halo 5 legendary.

Knowing 343 halo 5 legendary will be halo 2 heroic just like every other halo game. Halo 2 =real legendary halo 3 onwards is a joke for difficulty

Agreed though Halo 1 legendary also gets difficult at points especially against Elite Majors and Spec Ops Elites. Forget about it if you don’t have a plasma weapon.

You know, I’m finding that out the hard way myself but I will say this. Playing Halo 2 on Legendary won’t just prep you for Halo 4 on Legendary (which felt like Heroic), or Halo 5 on Legendary, but it will also do wonders for the way you actually play multi on Halo OR any other FPS game that isn’t a twitch shooter like Unreal Tournament. After playing Halo 2 on Legendary, my K/D shot up 2 fold on Destiny do to just not wanting to be shot at so much and being more precise with my own shots.
So definitely play Halo 2 on Legendary if you want some real intense prepping for Halo 5 or any other FPS.
Yeah, Halo 2 legendary is so much harder than the other Halo games. Halo 1 and randomly Halo Reach (not saying overall) have some difficult spots. Halo 3-4-ODST are a joke compared to Halo 2.
I disagree H2 legendary wasn’t that much more difficult than the others. Maybe it just seems that way since it has the most levels.

I am part of a Spartan company who are currently doing all 4 games on legendary to get special armour in halo 5.
