343 decided that removing split screen multiplayer was a good choice because people don’t really like to play with their friends and family anyway right?

Hope 343 and Microsoft enjoy the $500 dollars I spent on the special edition Xbox. Unfortunately I won’t get a dimes worth of use out of the money I spent because I will need to buy another Xbox one and Halo 5 copy to play with my significant other…in the same -Yoinking!- house. Thanks guys for reminding us that the gaming industry is all about money and greed. I was so excited to play the new installment in my favorite franchise I had almost forgotten about that!
Im so glad Josh Holmes and everyone at 343 see this game as a “milestone” in Halo history. It’s most definitely a setback, so do us a favor and don’t bother with Halo 6.

They didn’t remove splitscreen because they wanted to. It was a case of time, resources, and priorities. As they’ve said before, they did not want to sacrifice the game’s framerate, scale, or take time away from polishing it to try getting splitscreen in, and then having to get that up and running properly in addition to trying to polish the main singleplayer experience as well.
They already announced that there wouldn’t be splitscreen well before the game released. If you hadn’t seen this, it isn’t their fault. It’s been covered quite a lot online.
I understand your frustration, but the hostility won’t do a single thing to fix the situation, nor is it going to make them more inclined to listen to you, or anyone else. If you want to provide feedback, that’s fine, but lashing out at people certainly isn’t the way to go about it.

Actually lashing out is normally what causes change. It’s like if you have a small child and you tell them to do something nicely they probably won’t do it. But if you use your “I’m really angry and pissed off” voice they will. If the logic works with 5 year olds maybe it will work with the children who decided money was more important than preserving Halo traditions.
They honest to god released a statement saying that couch co-op was unnecessary because no one has the time to play with their friends in person anyway. That’s insane…and human interaction, not just through a headset, is kinda important to psychological health. Just saying.
Also I don’t think my ranting will have any effect but it does make me feel better to voice my opinion after shelling out hundreds of dollars and be left unable to play a game I used to love while my significant other gets to run through the campaign. I am positive they will not make any changes at this point. Everyone has already bought the game, and the systems. The money has already rolled in and will continue to do so as the holiday season approaches, because you could stick “Halo” on anything and it would sell.

Apparently it was, unfortunately I hadn’t heard. At least in a couple weeks I’ll be killing zombies in Black Ops 3 so that’s something to look forward to.

Maybe if you try win 10 share-play between Laptop /Pc and Xbox One , you will be having opportunity to play with frend or family member. I just shut in dark, because the game unlock in 7am Bulgarian time and I sprinting to work.
